Interior Designing with Ayumi~!
 

I just noticed something interesting yesteday. I was working on making a new sig when i noticed something very familiar in one of Ayumi's photo shoots.

See, there is this lamp that I really want to buy...and yesterday when I opened this image I looked and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it sitting beside Ayumi! Have I been desiring it because somewhere subconciously I remembered seeing it? Its in SCawaii September 2007.

Its the Bourgie Table Lamp by Kartell. You can buy it here at Design Within Reach. They even have a gold plated one for nearly $1,000. :dead2

I'm not sure if anyone else here is into furniture or design, but I thought it would be interesting to know if anyone else has recognized any of the furniture or accessories in Ayumi's photoshoots. Would you buy it if you did? I have to admit, I already wanted this lamp, but now that I've seen it sitting beside my idol, I will definitely own one someday!!! :yatta

Awesome find! I do think that's a little much for a lamp but it's really cool! I think if I saw furniture in an Ayu video and then I saw it at the store or something I would be tempted to get it.

You will probably see it in places like law firms.
It could cost from $600 to $3000

I also think the chairs used in Because of You (that transparent "egg") and these in Dearest in front of the mirror, are also famous designs.

Wow. Thank you! I don't think I've ever gotten a compliment on a set. Probably because the only image editing software I have is MS Paint and my iPhone. Lol.

The Because of You plastic chair looks like the Kartell "Mr. Impossible Chair", though the legs are different. I don't know if it's a rip off or if there are more in that style out there.

The LOVE Destiny chairs look like the cheap knock offs of the "3107" by Arne Jacobsen that you see everywhere, lol.

I love that kartell chair! I really like a lot of their designs though I have never seem that chair.

Edit: checked out the PV. I swear I've seen the chair, I'm just not sure where.
