Slow European Songs?

One day, Ratatouille was on the Disney Channel, and I fell in love with Le Festin (the theme sung in French), which happens to be sung by Camille, a real French artist.

Now I know Emilie Simon and stuff, but I'm looking for more relaxing/slow/dreamy music like Le Festin! I also decided I'd include all of Europe, because I'm sure everyone has something to offer for this. :)

I think I'd like to try Italian if anyone has Italian music. :D

I'm into French though, first and foremost. :)

Any suggestions?

This is the only French song I know. I just love the video.

Sorry to say that I don't know many french singers. All I listen to is Yelle and Jacques Brel, and those definitely fall into the slow and sweet category. But I did a little Spotify search and found similair artists.

Olivia Ruiz is a folk-punk artist, but you still might like her. She's french too.
Helena Noguerra you might like too. Her music is very basic, and sweet.
Caroline Wallin Pérez is a swedish artist, who covers songs from Kent. Look into her too, definitely.

Maria Mena is from Norway, but sings in english.

Just try the songs:

Just Hold Me
Sorry
Miss Your Love
All This Time
I'm in Love
This Bottle of Whine
Where Were You

SOS D'Un tetrrien detresse by Gregory Lemarchal is the most beautiful song I've ever heard and it's a very slow, French song. :) It's gotta be his version though!

How about~

Shy'm - J'entend encore les mots
This is a French song, very slow and light dreamy ♥ I absolutely looove this song, it's one of my favorites from her! :D

Laura Pausini - Bellissimo Cosi
This is an Italian song, one of my favorite songs ever~ It's a bit more soft rock-ish and not as dreamy, but I really like listening to it in the car. It goes good with driving ^^ There's also a Spanish version, too!

Thanks everyone, keep them coming!

I'm really open to any language, and I actually want any kind of songs now (e.g. pop, techno, etc).

I'll take a look at these when I go home, I'm at work right now. :P

I would be interested in some European power ballads since we are on the subject of European music in general. Could anyone help me out?

Many thanks.

Try it with Yann Tiersen! I love his music, he's just a genius. I can't link videos now, but try listening "Les bras de mer", "La valse d'Amelie piano ver." and "l'apres midi". I totally love them! ^^ I also like one song from Patricia Kaas "Et s'il fallait le faire".
