HEAVEN I feel is a bad choice, it feels sort of heartwrenching and bittersweet.

If I was having a wedding, I would've loved to hear these:

Days
walking proud
BALLAD
M (acoustic orchestra version)
no more words

Half of the songs cited here are about break-ups or being in love with someone who doesn't love you... Not good choices for a wedding IMO xD

I believe ayu once commented that she wrote Key ~eternal tie ver.~ in the intention of a wedding song

haha i sang ayu's HEAVEN, no way to say, Dearest, GREEN at my relatives' wedding parties before..
when i sang HEAVEN, it was few years ago... i thought that ppl wouldn't know what's the meaning of the song, so i just went for it..lolll~~~
but as of now, I think it's much better to sing a song that suitable with the love theme
at least, has the love theme on the song...
since almost all ayu's songs are one-sided love or heart broken..it's kinda hard to choose though...

maybe u should try Born to be...? or BLUE BIRD? some Ayu's FUN songs..
i think "glitter" is nice too :)

Meaning of Love, Close to you, Key, JEWEL and raining day are all happy love songs....

Seconded! That's going to be my first dance song at my wedding!

My choices are based on the arrangement and melody, not the actual lyrics. The couple getting married aren't japanese, right? :) You could also try doing an english cover of them.

Voyage seems kind of perfect to me.

These are what comes to my mind ^^ I played JEWEL for my mom at her wedding (on my iPod, though :cry and she said it was really sweet and she started crying :laugh Maybe my mom's just emotional, though ;))

Voyage is definitely the best choice. :yes

Personally at my wedding I'd want:

But I don't really want a "dream wedding", so I'm a bit weird. Maybe you should just go for the regular ballads (JEWEL, Dearest, etc)

I have a feeling Virgin Road will be a wedding type song.
I would also choose Key, Dearest, JEWEL. These would be my top 3 choices.

I always felt that, because of the lyrics, these would make great first dance songs :heart

Dearest is not suitable for wedding song.. (sad meaning & sad melody)
Just like Ayumixx mentioned above, most of ayu's songs are one-sided love, about life, etc..

My suggestion, based on lyric: Voyage (planned to use this song too when i got married :laugh)

As for the happy "neutral" song, you can try:

Blue Bird
Greatful Days
Glitter
Sunrise ~LOVE IS ALL~ (or sunset ~LOVE IS ALL~ if you want to sing ballad)
