Would you pay US$240 to have a personalised song sung by Ayu?
 

My other favourite band, Saint Etienne, will be releasing a Christmas album next month. There are two versions:

i) £12 (US$ 19) for the numbered CD album
ii) £150 (US$ 240) for the numbered CD album, a personally dedicated Christmas card signed by the band, plus an extra CD with a PERSONALLY DEDICATED CHRISTMAS SONG, sung by Sarah, not available on the main album. This is the only way you'll be able to get this song! And your name will be in the lyric!

i am so torn right now, cos i want that personalised song but it's a LOT of money to pay.

so, if ayu's new album provided this option, would you pay US$ 240 for one song with your name in the lyric?

If it was an actual personalized song made specifically for me, in a heartbeat I would. But not in your life would I pay for one where all they did was edit in my name like they are for hundred others.

my same thoughts. its not like its a song specially written for you, its just your name edited into the song.

although, if i could pay ayumi $240 to write a song just for me, i still probably wouldn't because at that price EVERYONE would have a song written just for them, and then whats the point?

No, as others have said, they're just putting your name into a line of a song and anyone with the money can have their ~own~ song.

No, I'd only want my name to be included in a song if it were sung from the heart by the person who cares for me.
