Do you think there will ever be an international TA?
 

I just read the sticky for how to join TA if you don't live in Japan, and while it was quite interesting how it could be done, I still would feel quite left out if I did join. While I can speak a fair amount of Japanese, my reading comprehension is basically awful. It'd make trying to actually read messages, blogs and the site as a whole a nightmare if I had to have a kanji book next to me the whole time. I'd feel as though I couldn't fully enjoy it as people in Japan can, despite the fact that I'd be a member.

I really hope Ayu reaches out to her international fans in the form of making a TA for English speakers. While I suppose it'd make it harder on her in having to manage two TA's, much of the work could go to a translation team of some kind. I wish she'd consider this as a possibility...

I hope one day soon it does, but for the time being I don't think it will. ; ;

It's been 12 years, she would have done it already.

But who knows, maybe one day.

I hope so. I have been reading that many Japanese artists and bands would like to open their fanclubs for the whole world, but apparently it's easier said than done : D

I would love to see it though <3 And I mean, not only US but rest of the world too~

I dunno if I'd use that as an indication. After all, with Twitter and whatnot, she's now able to communicate with international (particularly western-world) fans like never before. She probably didn't even know she had this many fans all over the world until a few years ago.

I think there's a possibility it'll happen in the future. Didn't mu-mo expand recently? That's a start...

I do hope so, it's pretty costly to do it via Tenso and the bonuses are really limited currently.

I hope that now mu-mo is looking to expand that the Japanese artists see it as something to trial *_* I'd be all over a true international TA...

there could be, but sometime later in the future. I don't think there will be anytime soon.

although she became aware of the presence of us (international fans i mean) just this very year i have to agree with Melodie..at least she could have done it for asian fans years ago

one of the new song titles that have been around was "Dream on" right? perhaps that's the answer...

LoL. JKJK. hahaha... i have no idea.

but i think she has always been aware that she is popular outside japan too.. i think she doesn't has the confidence to set up one too... coz she has issues to consider like what will the japanese fans in TA feel? if she posts more in TA will international TA feel sad or jealous? To set up International TA might mean all the countries around the world other than Japan, which also include Asian countries like China, Indonesia, Thailand, and etc. You see, even now she only has TA, but her posts got leaked easily to the press. Imagine what will happen if she has International TA? Seriously, I think its not that easy for her to just set up International TA.

"Hopefully not"? Why would you NOT want an international TA? It's much more than what we get from her on Twitter. They get exclusive items and opportunities that us outside of Japan could only dream of, plus in some cases they get to meet and interact with Ayu directly. They've even gotten to be in her PV's. We can't do that stuff through twitter. :/
