Artists/bands with different sounds but all with equal awesomeness?

Sorry about the title, I had no idea what to name this thread! :headache

Well I was just sitting here wondering (yes, at 7:40 AM in the morning, shut up! :P ) about something.

I have a favorite band, and they're called Blue Foundation. While they are absolutely amazing and just incredible, I realized how different most of their songs sounds. Not only did they change their style, from trip-hop to a much more ambient, experimental tune, but their songs are all so different from one another. Yet I still love every one of them.

Do you know any bands like that? Or artists for that matter. Bands/artists who changes styles and/or who's songs are all so different, but you're still madly in love with every one of them?

And yes, I'd say Ayu too :yes

You mean like Girls Aloud? :P

I think for me, Girls Aloud is the only Western artist that fulfills that for me.

Asian-wise, I like AAA (along with Ayu). :)

Gackt's music is pretty diversified.
I mean, take Vanilla-Hoshi no Suna-Last Song-uncontrol-U+K-Illness Illusion-RETURNER-ZAN-GHOST.
They're all different.

I think The Black Ghosts too?

Goldfrapp has never made an album that sounds exactly like another they've done, and they're probably the most consistently good band I listen to IMO.

Felt Mountain: Dramatic, jazz-influenced trip-hop
Black Cherry: Buzzing electroclash
Supernature: Quasi-new wave with dark cabaret touches
Seventh Tree: Folksy acoustic pop
Head First: Pure synthpop

BUCK-TICK comes to mind right away. Every album is different from the last that I honestly never know what genre / direction they're going to take.

There is only one band that I can think of that has an awesome sound...

B'z :D

To start you off...

And the song that made me think of Virgin Road :D

They are an incredible rock band whose sound really varies! :D
