Kuu ballads!!!!
 

anyways i love most of kuu's up beat songs because they are so great! but her ballads i find are too generic, example suki de X3 i dont like, can anyone point me into ballads that are slightly different, more passionate and beautiful (like alan or ayu) im sure they wont be the same because she is kuu and not alan or ayu so her music will be different but something similar, like i really love alive and you are so beautiful! those two songs are so beautiful, what songs would you think fit the description? :) or maybe not even beautiful ballads but something different!

For me, as I said in the kumi thread, I prefer her older ballads, such as:

Hands
Your song
Futari de
Walk
Rain
You

Also, for me:

booty-popping songs like Candy, JUICY, FREAKY, SHAKE IT >>>>>>> ballads >>>>>>> poppy songs

I'd say take a listen to Aishou or Unmei. kuu ballads usually don't get very epic or anything but she certainly has pretty ones.

I would get Bounce and Lovers. She's got some really good on there imo. Everyone made fun of it when it was released...but I really like the compilation.

Ashita e... (I think this is my fav. It was the first time I heard an orchestra only song with the koda)
1000 no kotoba (lol) Orchestra Version
Pearl Moon
Hands
You ~piano version~

It also has some of the ones Seven mentioned~

I also :heart Aishou and I REALLY :heart Believe from Secret.

Another nice little piano only ballad, is Candle Light from Black Cherry.


And if you're looking for a stripper ballad, you can listen to feel....but you probably aren't...but see, koda has it all ;)

Also like someone else said, her older ballads are much better than her newer ones. Pearl Moon, Rain, Promise, you, feel, Taisetsu na Kimi e, and Gentle Words are good ones too.

This is one of my favorite ballads. I feel like it's so underrated.

I would definitely say Candle Light, Futari de..., and Always (At least I think it's a ballad) are her best in my opinion. Also Ashita e..., Aishou, and Pearl moon are great as well.

Once Again is epic. I love that song. So underrated. Some others I would suggest are:

omg I love you guys for loving Once Again. I feel like not many other kuu fans appreciate its awesomeness. I never thought of Once Again as a ballad but it's such a great song and she has nothing else that sounds like it in her discography. her voice is also perfect in that song, it's definitely one of my favorites too!
