What? Morning Musume doing so good? Regarding their Single sales last year I didn't though they would rank this high in any categorie. It's like 3 of my very favoruite artists in the Top 3 :)

Morning Musume's numbers come from their heyday when they were selling 400-500k of each DVD in 1999~2000.

Ayu is likely to take them over after this year or the next. Great job, Ayu! I don't think she will get near Arashi any time soon. Not that it's a bad thing since they sell 600k of every DVD they sell, haha.

Well this is kinda unexpected. You know, Ayu's one of the most famous female singer in Japan, so her overall sales are obviously great. But I never thought she was on such a high position with DVD sales.

Mmm her concerts are visual masterpieces for the most part, aren't they? I can see why people would want to buy the DVDs. Still, I am a bit surprised that's she ranked so high! Good for her. I'm not surprised by Arashi's rankings but I'm definitely surprised by Morning Musume. I had no idea they sold so many DVDs over the years. I'm happy for them.
