POWER OF MUSIC?

I have a feeling ayu changed the whole concept of this tour other than just title, maybe it was something like Rock'n'Roll Circus and now it's like...Limited TA Live? Like just the band and her?

nanakopy87 28th April 2011 03:34 PM

she herself already said that the concept and idea are all different from Hotel Love Song

Aderianu 28th April 2011 03:35 PM

Didn't we talk about that 100500 times? In the twitter thread when she said that going to change everything, in the tour news thread...

Tasked 28th April 2011 03:42 PM

yep, she changed everything... with the lame-ass tour good and stuff, I have a hunch that this tour will not be 'grande' at all.. I might actually not go, if I think it'll dissappoint me

Mami-chan 28th April 2011 04:42 PM

She already said she changed the concept of the tour..
She also said there will be 23 band members, 10 dancers and 3 performers ^^ Maybe it won't be RnRC but I'm sure it's going to be a beautiful and emotional tour ^_^

Really saddens me - I think Love songs is an album that will sound so epic live and with the whole HOTEL theme it would have been GRAND! Ugh... She shoulda just held some POWER of MUSIC special 2 day only thing and left the HOTEL Love songs unchanged!

asmAyumi1992 28th April 2011 04:58 PM

^Oh yeah . But Ayu is still Ayu. She knows what best for her and her people :(

Melodie 28th April 2011 05:02 PM

23 band members? Must be the case with the classical sound of the album.

JackieRos 28th April 2011 06:07 PM

I would have thought with the name change they would also change the theme too.
Is nice that they changed it for a good cause.

Not everyone wants to go to the twitter threads, too many tweets to keep up with I guess and
also the tour threads go too fast imo.

tokyoxjapanxfan 28th April 2011 06:32 PM

Yeah it's a pity that the hotel theme was changed. But who knows, maybe she'll open up the show with as a grand an opening as (m)u tour's Born to be..., which is still my favorite tour opening ever. So powerful...I get goosebumps every time xD

but everyone who want to get info about tour need to go in the news thread, right?

JackieRos 28th April 2011 07:37 PM

^yup exactly but sometimes the first post doesn't have the recent info and
I don't think anyone will want to go through 500 posts to find a specific information and
sometimes the search function doesn't work and sometimes google don't gives us what we need.

Nothing wrong in asking =/

I don't really understand why she changed the whole thing..i expected a grand tour and now..it doesn't sound pretty cool anymore...

I think it's been said 12898912612387 times before, but Ayu believes it's not the time for Hotel Love Song tour, and that she needs to make a tour about hope and light for Japanese people and not some grand and flashy show.

Kashoku 29th April 2011 10:30 PM

Yeah. This tour: Going to suck. Which is so disappointing because I really feel Love Songs could have been a totally EPIC EPIC concert. Now I have doubts it'll even be as entertaining as a CDL, which sometimes isn't very much...Oh well.

I predict a horrible MY ALL, RED LINE, no more words, Life, Replace medley coming to an Ayu concert near us.

Neko★munication 29th April 2011 11:37 PM

I'm not sure why everyone's jumping to the conclusion that this tour's going to be less flashy/less elaborate/less grand than her usual ones. If she's actually confirmed this, please enlighten me. So far, all we know is that she's changed the title and most of the performances. She hasn't said how she's changed them, nor has she posted a setlist, nor has she said she isn't going to perform any songs from Love songs... unless I missed a bunch of crucial tweets or something, in which case feel free to tell me I'm wrong (and please direct me to said tweets) :P

And yeah, I love Ayu's big flashy shows, but any fan can tell you that the girl can rock a stage with just her and her band members - see Limited TA Tour, CDL 04-05, a number of other CDLs, pretty much all the a-nations, etc.

joshohhhhh 30th April 2011 12:29 AM

why are people complaining? this isn't about you, it's about japan.

isthisLOL? 30th April 2011 12:53 AM

I find it funny how people go from "possibly less flashy" to "has to suck"
If you want flashy performances watch a Britney Spears concert, Ayumi has never had the biggest, flashiest things out there, she did big stuff, but never the biggest, not NEARLY, she's known for being a great performer, not someone hiding behind effects. I really loved RnRc Tour and would love to see something like that again, but remembering TA Live Tour and all the acoustic and orchestral performances she has done on TV and in concerts...if she makes this more simple but with more focus on music it could turn out extremely beautiful.
23 band members already sounds like for the first time ever, she will have live strings, that's enough to make me really happy. (I realize she had strings in concerts before, but they were playback, usually only there for 1-2 songs, there weren't even microphones attached)

jbrat2219 30th April 2011 01:15 AM

As long as it's not a ballad fest, I won't complain. I'm not gonna lie, I genuinely hope at some point this year we see the original Love songs tour.
