well, to be honest it's kinda my story, too. I've been listening to her since "I" and wondering why she's such a flop, wishing she could top the charts one day and it just happened xD
I had a little break from her when she became famous because all of her songs just sounded the same for me... and then I accidentaly heard "Dear../MAYBE" and fell in love all over again ^^
now I come back once in a while to check on her~

My story is that I loved I and then glowlydays but I didnt like Style so I had some break at Kana and then I came back around MAKE UP cause I loved it and so here I am still waiting for LIVE DVD

i discover kana with Motto...
i loved the cover and i played the pv.
honestly i don't like the r&b ballads, but Motto.. was stuck in my head.
later i listened some of her older works, and since then, she is one of my fav. artists

The first song I heard was Tookutemo feat.WISE :heart

I follow Satoh Ayumu's blog (the male model in the video) and so that's how I first heard of her :D And then in the following video, Kimi ni Aitakunaru kara, he was in it again haha.

i actually listened to kana in 2008, with "glowly days" and "style". i liked both songs, but i just wasn't so interested afterwards, so i stopped listening. then somehow in 2009, i went back to listen to her with "kimi ni aitakunaru kara" and i really liked it! along with "kimi no koe feat. VERBAL". but it wasn't until i heard "Motto..." that i really loved this new style of kana's music. and i've been hooked ever since! i could listen to any of her songs from then until now and they just never get old! :P

I remember I downloaded everything in her discography when she released LOVE one.

But I didn't like it. I forgot why I even downloaded her.

But then I downloaded it again, and listened to Kimi ni Aitaku Naru Kara. I fell in love. What a beautiful, saddening song. Motto... sealed the deal on my love for her.

my first song was 会いたくて 会いたくて it was really popular back then...♪

If I'm not mistaken the first Kana song I heard was glowly days. I love that song!

This is my story too! I think I've mentioned before that when I was released I tried Google-ing her, and nothing came up. Back in those days it was hard to find info about her. I thought for a while that I would be her first and only single, but then glowly days came out, and I was happy. I worried she was gonna be dropped from her label for a long time, but thankfully she's become popular, so no worries.

I cant even remember the whole story cause I heard I and wasnt hooked at all, her early music was doing nothing for me, so when I heard 遠くても with WISE I was in love, I didnt care for not liking the whole album I was in love for just one track lol. That track is still my jam, then thank goodness kana started to make hit after hit, her every song after that was epic and yeah, to LOVE is an epic album for me.
