Does anyone know the proper name of her famous blonde hair color?

I believe it is normally called an ash blonde because of the slightly ashy/grayish notes that are used when dying it. Though there are also people with naturally ashy hair colors.

Occasionally Ayu's also gotten a strawberry blonde, but I think this one would count as ash. (Strawberry = like in the JEWEL PV and 2007-era)

^I thought it'd be ash blonde, but wasn't sure. :) I would've never considered going blonde before seeing that hair color on her lol.

You have to good hair for get special effect on your hair like Ayu and have to do take care of your hair after dyeing hair. Most of people get wrong about the time when they dyeing their hair. But i will say The amount of time required varies for different hair dyes. Some only take 30 minutes, others require an hour or more. Before dyeing your hair, you will need to refer to the instructions that accompany the product and time it accordingly.
