Sample songs from others?

Do you think ayu would do that in the future?

We have seen some singers who has done it already. The most popular example would be Namie Amuro 60s70s80s.

IMO, I wish she would do that.

It depends on how well it would be done. Because personally I found the whole 60s70s80s single absolutely boring.

She did it on Free & Easy, the opening was a sample from a movie soundtrack. And there may be samples in some other songs as well.

Side-eyeing you right now

60s70s80s was a sample single done right. Ayu would just have to choose the right song to sample. But idk what Ayu can sample and make it sound good as her own song lol.

Duty seems to sample something.

I think she does sample from others but probably we just don't know as much about as about Koda Kuu & Namie :)

Depends on the song, the part she samples, and how she / the composers use it in context.

Samples? :confused

^ It's when you well, sample a section from a song into your own song lol.

Umm..."No Love" by Eminem is a good example of this. He sampled Hadaway's "What Is Love?" in that song.

Or like someone mentioned, Namie Amuro's 60s70s80s single, which samples a song from each respective era. "Baby Love" by The Supremes for NEW LOOK, "Rock Steady" by Aretha Franklin for ROCK STEADY, and "Flashdance...What a Feeling" by Irene Cara (or something like that) for WHAT A FEELING.
