Miya Records?

I went to a con yesterday and there was a stand selling J-POP CDs. All Ayu's, Namie's and other's CDs had "Miya Records" on them and I couldn't find any mention of Avex + the package was really weird...

That means all CDs were bootlegs right? >;<

~angel*ayumi~ 23rd October 2011 04:48 PM

Yes Miya Records is a bootleg lable.

ayuPanda 23rd October 2011 07:29 PM

But a really good copy of the originals...only the lable and the CD cover are wrong

I have some of them only DVDs but they show me the original concerts^^

Even though I know con is short for convention, I thought the use of it was quite funny in this situation. It sounds like you went to some con man who was selling bootlegs, lol. Sorry just had to say this since it made me lol. But yes, "Miya Records" is definetely a bootleg label like ~angel*ayumi~ said. I hope no one bought the CDs thinking they were real.

Unfortunately, they're probably rips of real AVEX DVDs. Anything with "Miya Records" on shouldn't be trusted, since it's a known bootleg label for music.

Yep, known label. If you know what you're looking at is Miya records then DON'T buy it. I was ripped off by a music story online(a professional one) once that sold me a Miya records version of A Museum, the DVD itself was ok but the packaging was horrible quality and if I wanted just the DVD-ISO I'd download it...

I wish I could report it somewhere, because those CDs were 60EUR =s

~angel*ayumi~ 24th October 2011 07:40 PM

Maybe you can report it to the convention leaders so they donīt invite the seller next year.
Which convention was it?

thats quite ridiculous .a lot of stores in europe sadly sells miya record .its a shock sadly its hard to report those . not everyone knows well enough about authentic cds so unvolontary they buy and spoort those fake ones . if nobody were buying them i m pretty sure they would stop selling them . best is to tell ur friends around to not buy miya record cds and spread the word amount fans . lets support ayu !

if you are looking to buy ayumi hamasaki album and singles i think ahs is the best safest and most friendly places .there ismany sellers here and plenty of choice .

It is! I couldn't believe it at first. o_o I'm going to try and report the seller though, maybe it won't help, but atleast I tried. =p

A lot of the sellers simply don't know the difference.

tokyoxjapanxfan 26th October 2011 06:21 AM

when i first got into ayu, i bought a complete clip box from a website and it was also miya records. at that point i had no money and also the region coding on my dvd player didnt match. so it was worth it for me haha. quality and package were fine haha.

eventually i hacked my dvd player and got it to play everything :P

Wow, really 60e! That's sick. I was in one Con here too last summer and I bought a couple of concerts from BLIPPO, a known and well, also only store in Finland to sell Ayu cds. I only paid 14e from two concerts, since they had huge sales! :3 However, they only sell overseas versions, [still official ones though] not JPN press, and get newer products really late [They still don't have Love Songs or FIVE] so that's why I rarely buy from 'em, but those were so cheap that I had to : D
Miya Records is really irritating, since u can't really notice the difference unless u know it's fake...
