At first I was like "What's the funny part.. that's right, from what I've learned of Japanese?" ... and was about to post that. But yeah - that's really awesome xD I wonder how they've made that fail O.o There's just no other ayumi in the world. :P

(a little ot, but how did you make it show the romaji?)

alternarist 28th January 2012 03:45 PM

they probably cannot translate the Kanji "浜崎" as well as "あゆみ" since it doesnt mean anything hence they just wrote an "ayumi" there.

and there you have it. haha.

pommy48 28th January 2012 03:58 PM

If you translate it to Chinese, the translation is also Ayu's name in Chinese lol

But it doesn't just apply to Ayu...the same thing happens if you try with other singers~ I guess the top translation is just the most popular

RayJason 28th January 2012 04:14 PM

That's awesome!!! lol

YUKARI 28th January 2012 04:15 PM

lol why can't they just write "hamasaki" if they know the pronouncation Oo

TeamAyu2004 28th January 2012 04:28 PM

visionfactory 30th January 2012 03:16 AM

kendelle 2nd February 2012 01:51 PM

JackieRos 2nd February 2012 05:34 PM

I like that they put the romaji there, is useful.

Mari-chan 2nd February 2012 06:44 PM

When I tried it in enlish and german.. is always write Ayumi in Hiragana... but not Hamasaki. But.. than I tried it like Adi_loves_ayu and worte it in english and full small letters.. and it really writes Hamasaski Ayumi.
Really interessting.

femtrooper 2nd February 2012 06:52 PM

At first I didn't get it, but haha, wow, that's really cool.

Jennie Mae 2nd February 2012 08:37 PM

If you just type in "ayumi", it translates it to "hamasaki ayumi". Which is AWESOME.
