Ayu's hand removed on the cover of Party Queen

Perhaps this was discussed before, but is there any explanation why was Ayu's left arm removed from the photo, when it's clearly visible in the mirror behind her?...

Catzi 23rd April 2012 07:24 PM

It has something to do with the flash when the photo was taken.

Mari-chan 23rd April 2012 07:35 PM

Looks really like it is missing. I also noticed it.

isthisLOL? 23rd April 2012 07:37 PM

It's not removed. The view is obstructed by her head and the wood.

Andrenekoi 23rd April 2012 08:01 PM

You can see her arm on the mirror... It's just behind her head and the pillar...

visionfactory 23rd April 2012 08:09 PM

They removed it and put some shadow instead.

This seems like the most likely reason given the angle the photo was taken from.

Yeah, must be the (awkward) angle... Some "illusion" her hand got "cut off", but it's not - it's just how the picture was taken...

Yeah, really :rolleyes

emi♡ 23rd April 2012 11:43 PM

what lol

the table leg is hiding it.

the only weird shadowing was the shadow under her head...which is not caused by her arm :)

JackieRos 24th April 2012 12:07 AM

I had a bad joke for this but I don't want to get in trouble lmao

it does look like her arm is missing but you see it in the mirror BUT IT DOES LOOK LIKE HER ARM IS MISSING
that irks me alot lmao

That is a shadow of her head, and it looks far less bizarre on a good size/quality cover...

AyuGAME 24th April 2012 07:13 AM

we already discussed about this since a long time ago...on ton of pages...
her hand is hiding behind table leg near her head

xLuna&1LOVE 24th April 2012 09:23 AM

Where were you when Party Queen had been announched and when the covers did leak? From my memory: we have had threads about this issue.

Anyway, like already has been said: in the mirror behind her you can see her arm (the table leg is hiding it) and the weird things around her face is a shadow. :)

happiholic★ 24th April 2012 04:56 PM

I'm surprised that this was ever an issue :/

From the first time I ever saw the cover I understood why her arm was "missing". There needs to be a sticky that says "Ayu's arm isn't missing" with photos for proof so people can just let it go. This whole subject just baffles me.

Dustie 24th April 2012 11:19 PM

I wasn't here around the time the cover was first shown and the first thing I noticed when I went to Ayu's site was how the photo seemed strange, as if the hand was simply removed to not distract from Ayu's face. I thought it could in no way be hidden behind the 'pillar' because of how clearly visible it was in the reflection, however, after taking a closer look, it looks like that was the case indeed and it's simply covered due to the angle the photo was taken at.

Sorry about the repetition of topics. ;)

JackieRos 25th April 2012 04:04 PM

you just wanted to know and it does look like her arm is missing.

the left arm is cut off:laugh :roflmao

isthisLOL? 25th April 2012 09:03 PM

Her left arm is not cut off. As seen in the reflection it's resting against the wall, her arm is rather thin, so when against the wall the wood hides it completely.

Utena 25th April 2012 09:17 PM

the arm we see in the mirror is the one we see in the front, and her other arm is hidden behind the 'pillar' of the table thing and her head :)
