Ayu Photobooks

I`m looking for some older Photobooks of Ayu. Do you know any shops in Tokyo and Osaka where I could find that?

Delirium-Zer0 25th September 2012 04:29 AM

Book-Off locations might still stock some older ones. I got my old Ayu books from Book-Off Online.

Hmm there are a lot of second hand shops in Japan but I don't necessarily know the names of all of them, agh. You might be able to get a lot of them super cheap on Amazon.jp Marketplace but the tour ones... not too sure. You may have to go to Yahoo Auctions Japan for those.

Thanks for the information.
I`m in Japan in October. Hope I will find something.

Hopefully. Was there anything in particular that you were looking for?

Mostly i`m looking for photobooks of her tours. 2005 to 2007 could be interesting for me. But maybe I find some other photobooks too what I like.

At second hand stores like Book-Off it should be possible to have a look inside if I like the content.

I don't think book off or any other book store sells the tour pamphlet or do they?

truehappiness 1st October 2012 10:30 AM

I've seen some fanclub goods sold in BOOKOFF locations here in the USA so they MIGHT sell the tour goods if someone's let go of their collection. However, it's not guaranteed. You're definitely bound to find a lot of singles/albums though.

Sounds not so optimistic. Any other idea where I could find some of the tourbooks?

yahoo auctions/ebay is the best choice for older concert goodies.

thatstacey 3rd October 2012 02:04 PM

I didn't see any pamphlets at Book-Off, but it's worth a shot. Also, you might try some ticket resellers. Some of the larger shops also have artist memorabilia for sale (I was able to get some old TA issues there). However, as angel*ayumi said, you're best bet is online with yahoo auctions.

So it seems that I should check out internet auctions.
But first I wanna see what I will find in my holidays in Japan.

Unfortunatelly I`ve found only two photobooks from her tours in 2000 und 2001. So not really what I`m looking for. Bad luck.

If I may ask here:
There are book offs in the USA, correct?
If I were to go to one, I could potentially find Ayu's CDs?
Also, on the topic of photobooks, the USA book offs could sell the (m)u, guilty and RnRc photobooks, right?

Yes the Book Off in Costa Mesa, and Redondo Beach in California have the (miss)understood photo book, and GUILTY photo books (I am not sure if they are still there, but most likely they are) but I didn't see a OBI with it. Sometimes they put the OBI's in the case with the plastic wrapping though, so just ask the clerk if he/she would open it up for you to check! :) I bought Utada Hikaru's Singles Collection Vol. 1, and bought Ayu's Secret, and the OBI's were inside the case!
