Anyone know of any non-ayu related media (ads, movies, mangas, animes, tv shows, parodies, etc) that made references to ayumi? Post them here!

This is the first thing that sprung to my mind: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Chapter 9

Take a look at the third panel. Here, a young illegal immigrant is listing things which show how nice the Japanese are - one of these things being that they cry over songs with "no substance". And gee, that A-symbol on the CD case certainly looks familiar...

Edit: Now that I think about it, Ayu was also referenced in Azumanga Daioh, when one of the leads (Tomo) got a haircut and said it was "to look like Ayu" or something like that.

I believe I read this on AHS, but there is this game about alien invasion, one of the aliens is called Ayu and the other one is called Utada... Does someone knows about it?

Sailor Moon Sacrifice Act 2 has an ayumi track in it!
It's around the 5:45 mark when Sailor Moon is transforming.

In Azumanga Daioh (I forget which episode, but it was in the 20s), Tomo-chan cuts her hair. One of the other characters comments on her small boobs and Tomo goes, "Well, at least I can shoot for Ayu now." ^^v

I was rolling. She actually did the peace sign too.

I think it was in the Koizora manga, there was a scene where a girl gives a guy LOVEppears to listen to~

I dont get it? Shoot? Is she an actress?

LOL I need to go back and watch those moments in Azumanga Daioh and 1 Litre of Tears! I watched both of those before I became an Ayu fan, and haven't really watched them since lol (so about 6 years now :P)

Shoot meaning to try and be like her; like it's a goal.
