ayu DVDs won't work

so i just ordered A complete and the DVD won't work in my macbook pro or my ps3 but all her other DVD work on ps3 and macbook pro

Your player probably doesn't support Japanese DVDs (region 2).

You still should be able to play it in VLC though, at least I'm pretty sure.

Ate all the other DVDs official and not bootleg? Bootleg are usually VCD which don't have region codes.

Yup. VLC should work even if your disc drive is region locked regardless of OS. I'm using OS X too and I can play both region 3 and region 2 DVDs fine with VLC. Just insert the disc and go to File > Open Disc (CMD + D) and then hit okay and you should be good to go.

That is, if it's a region problem :laugh

There's also a program called DVD Region Free that you can get. I use it and love it.
