Ayu discography in Itunes
 

Okay so. I have 3000+ songs from ayu between concert rips/studio albums/best/compilations/remix/rare tracks etc.

I came to the point that I can't even scrobble down in Itunes her name in the artist section if I want to choose some songs to listen to because there are TOO MANY LOL. How do you organise your ayu library? I tried making playlists but those are a pain to keep updated.

Sorry for the stupid question lol but I was really curious.

I have multiple playlists for Ayu as I have a ton of her songs too! Within each playlist, I started with the oldest release date to the most recent at the end. That way if she releases something, just a right click and add to appropriate playlist. No shuffling around.

I used to have that struggle when I downloaded all her singles and albums. But now, the only music from Ayu I have are from CDs that I own of hers. So organizing isn't that much of an issue.

You can make separate playlists for the albums, compilations, singles, and remix albums?

Thank you for your answers... I might end up doing playlists, yeah. Even if I can't really synchronize them over different computers but I think that's the only way.

I made up a couple of pictures of how I sort my Japanese albums and songs with Japanese names on it. This way you should be able to scrobble every Japanese song in Last.fm without any problem. Hope it helps!

It's all kinda confusing at first, but then it gets easy and also VERY addicting (if you're a tag nerd like me...). :P Hope this helped a bit! :)

^ thank you for your concern! you were so so kind! I'm a tag nerd like you ahah. I already sort them out in a similar way as you do (except I do keep the japanese names/artists in every field because I usually have the pc/ipod set to japanese)

But the part which helped me a lot was the one about compilations which is my real problem here! so thank u! ♥

I keep all her singles at the top. I hate having the singles intermingled with albums. So I created a tag at the front that keeps those singles at the top of the discography.

[AA.] Single > HEAVEN
[AA.] German Single > Naturally

Etc.
