If you could revive one dead singer...

If you could bring one singer back from the dead, who would it be? :love

For me: Karen Carpenter (I bet no one here knows her lol). Voice of an angel and such a sad, sad premature death. I've never heard another voice like hers.

Who would you pick? Elvis? Michael Jackson? Whitney Houston? Madonna?

Madonna? lol

-Freddie Mercury from Queen

Great voice from studio to live and a top notch concert performer

-Had to mention these four guys here because I'll never get to see them live: David Ruffin, Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, and Melvin Franklin from the classic Temptations line up

Aaliyah. Too young. I practically still feel like a teenager, but it's so sad realizing that I outlived her since she died at such a young age. :no

It would be either Nico or John Balance from Coil. Amazing musicians that made music way ahead of their time <3

Amy Winehouse

I can really agree with this. Even though she hadn't been around that long before her death, like many other artists that could be cited in this thread, I can't help but think she had such a bright future ahead of her. What little she did achieve in such a short time makes me wonder what would have been had she lived.

She had been in the music business for quite a while before her death actually^^ I still remember her song from the movie Anastasia, oh the memories lol.

I'd have to say Aaliyah as well, and Left Eye, cause those are 2 artists with whose music i've grown up with

She was in it for about ten years and had three albums, I know. But, I said it was a short time relative to other singers who would probably be mentioned in this thread, such as Michael Jackson. He was in the industry for about forty years.

John Lennon, because he was in a position to make the entire nature of the world better.

Layne Statley. That voice and vibrato were godly.
