Most Memorable Music Lines?

What lin (or lines) of a song really made u think or made an impact on ya? or just sounded really good lol?

Mines would have to be an old classic rap song...

Tupac - Changes

"I see no changes all I see is racist faces
misplaced hate makes disgrace to races
We under I wonder what it takes to make this
one better place, let's erase the wasted"

"We gotta start makin' changes
learn to see me as a brother instead of 2 distant strangers"

Because you believe in me strongly, strongly, as if it was a lie

Your arms, your voice, your back are here, the rain strikes my dried ground
I can't do anything like run away, you'll come chasing me wherever
I know it so well I want to cry, I know it...

Onitsuka Chihiro - Memai

I was so shocked to hear such lyrics. It seemed like she was singing to me. It left a major impression on me. I may look at life a little differently after listening to Onitsuka.

Because everyone carries wounds
When gentle kindness soaks in,
It hurts so much
They feel like bursting into tears

I am healed by this lonliness
I don't want to be alone
Since you are here
I can sleep feeling I'm at peace

Hamasaki Ayumi - For My Dear

This one sums up how I have felt for some time now. I don't know if I'd call feeling like this a bad thing. It's just a little sad to look at these lyrics. Maybe really personal. You must understand that ayu's lyrics have really changed the way I view situations in life. Weird? Maybe. But I believe that artists communicate through their art. And sometimes we pick up the signals.

Finally...

I've realized that you're in my heart this much
I love you, and it's funny but I can't seem to say it.

When you're smiling and I'm by your side,
I can be myself
I love you, but I just can't seem to say it.

Kiroro - Nagai Aida

X_X Such a sad song. But a beautiful one. Could hanabiwings be at a loss of words? Perhaps.

i wanna heal i wanna feel like im somewhere i belong
Linkin Park - Somewhere I belong.
Feeling like an outcast sucks!

crawling in my skin, these wounds they will not heal, fear is how i fall, confusing what is real.

Crawling -- Linkin Park

I saw the end of an era with my own eyes, and in truth i did know it was my turn next

Ayu -- Duty

Why wont they leave me, leave me alone, when i dont even want me, want me.

Mudvayne -- the patient mental

Life's not a b*tch, life is a beautiful woman, you only call her a b*tch cuz she won't let you get that p*ssy. Maybe she didn't feel ya, y'all didn't have any similar interests, or maybe you're just an *sshole who couldn't sweet-talk the princess.

Aesop Rock - Daylight [got some swearing in it, but it's just damn true]

Time to let this pass
(the time it takes, the time it takes to let go)
Time runs through our veins.
(it starts and stops and starts and stops again)
We don't stand a chance in this threadbare time
(to take time to break the cycle)

Thursday - Understanding in a car crash [about losing a friend in a car crash, it's just a very sad but beautiful song with equal lyrics]

the bottom line is money on the Western power scene
where celebrities and porn can let the population dream
their pathetic humans living in an advertising glut
who devour with a passion what the mainstream vomits up

Dying Fetus - Pissing in the mainstream [death metal with brains!]

there's more, but this is what just popped up in my head

Hole - Doll Parts

"I love him so much it just turns to hate.
I fake it so real, I am beyond fake.
And someday, you will ache like I ache"

The Cranberries - Rebels

"Seems like yesterday we were sixteen,
We were The Rebels of the Rebel Scene.
We wore Doc Martens in the snow,
Paint our toenails black and let our hair grow.
What I am now is what I was then,
I am not more acceptable then them"

Umm..

I think it's an honour
I say it's an honour to be different
I can't go their way

Don't be afraid, open your mouth and say
say what your soul sings to you
when you do, you'll find the one you need is you
you'll find you love you.

-Massive Attack, What Your Soul Sings

There never comes a day when I have to remember you,
cos I never for a moment forgot you.

-Hamasaki Ayumi, HANABI

You're my butterfly,
don't fly away
Open my hands, you're free,
praying you'll come back to me

-Delta Goodrem, Butterfly

Keep on making the same mistakes,
Keep on aching the same heartbrakes,
I miss you I miss you I miss you I miss you
I miss you I miss you so much.

-The Cure, Cut Here

If you think love is blind,
that I wouldn't see the flaws between the lines
Surprised that I caught you out on every single time that you lied

-Delta Goodrem, Not Me, Not I

Have you ever loved somebody so much, it makes you cry?
Have you ever needed something so bad you can't sleep at night?
Have you ever tried to find the words, but they won't come out right?

-Brandy, Have You Ever?

We'll be wishing on the same star,
Looking on the same moon

-Namie Amuro, Wishing on the Same Star

You're here, I'm here, forever 'til the ends of the earth,
You're here, I'm here, that's all, that's everything.

-Hamasaki Ayumi, Flower Garden

So I'm never gonna dance again,
the guilt in me ain't got no rhythm

-George Michael, I have no friggin idea what that song is called

Beginnings come at random,
but endings are always for a reason.

-Hamasaki Ayumi, M

Those are all soppy romantic songs (other than the first one) that I love and have personal attachments too.
