This numbers are laughable compared to 10 years ago.
Of course... if ayu did the same promotion AKB girls do (if you buy 1 CD you get 1 handshake from the artist) I BET ayu would sell as good as AKB (or maybe I am too hopeful???)

^ It reminds me of the time when she made a surprise appearance in Shibuya to promote the release of her Deji Deji Diary book and caused such a commotion that it effectively shut that part of the city down, lmao...to the point where the police were talking about bringing her in for questioning. Stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard.

I always love watching the footage from her handshake event in Ginza when she was promoting A BOOK's release. Queeeeen :heart
