What do you do when your friends make fun of ayu? Like saying she is ugly or her music stinks or what not? you know those kind of friends who dont know anything about J-pop but just hate? Well yeah i have alot of friends who do that.

Especially family who things ayu is ugly!!!!!

But you know what i do? i defend ayu andi tell them off! One time i beat up my friend for saying ayu sucks and such, and he is scared to make fun of her now

does this happen to you guys? please respond!

heh...i just burn them a cd and they get hooked...and for guys...showinng them the ccover of i am... is enoughh......

Lol I just say "whatever" all it matter is to me, I love Ayu :P

Actually no one say Ayu is ugly yet, in my family or friends.

Wow, I just went off subject about this from a thread like 3min ago.

What do I do or say when people bash Ayumi without knowing anything about her or just can't stand her voice, I just say"hey that's your opinion but my opinion is the right one"

So to create a nuetral balance from Jpop haters and anti-Ayumi's to the pro Ayumi's and jpop, I get people into her music. At my college I was listening to Naturally (Wippenberg Remix) and this Ukranian girl behind me in my Italian class wnated to know what I was listening to. I let her listen and she was like "OMG THIS IS SO GOOD! I'm going to tell all my friends about this, what's her name and what's this song?" I gave her a piece of paper of recommended songs and even how to pronounce her name. 2 weeks later I see her again and ask her about how she likes Ayumi, she got like 8 other friends into her and they are getting their friends into it.

Basically I ask people what kind of music they are into and then I give them a taste of Ayumi, some say "no I don't like it" others say they do and so I give them the info. I should make business cards =P

But I never heard anyone call Ayumi ugly. Everyone who sees her are like "DAMN!! WHO'S THAT!?" Especially because of my drawing. I draw it at the computer lab at my college where there's like 100 people constantly going in and out and where I draw is in the middle of the room. It's a picture from I Am... where she's on her knees with the dove flying off in the sky and she has this very seductive look in her eyes. Probably why I'm drawing it... but it'son a 24x36 board so it's not like I'm drawing this on a little piece of paper. When it's done I'll put up a picture on here. It's my form of the highest respect I can give Ayumi without meeting her. When I draw it takes me months to finish it but when it's done, it's great. Takes a lot of my soul and devotion into a drawing because I want it so perfect and such... off subject again!! Blah... I'm getting worse at this.

Beating up people for bashing Ayumi is a little extreme but that would always be funny to see I suppose...

If people make fun of Ayumi you can always make fun of them back. :) That or just shrug it off. Not everyone is going to like Ayumi.

Okay when people call her ugly I get pissed... Because she is NOT ugly... :shrug

I don't say anything to them, but I really wanna throw them down a flight of stairs... :D

Accept their opinion... if they're malicious about or mean about it, then that's a problem... but they dont have to like her or think she's pretty. Don't force any of her stuff upon them, and they'll be happy

ummm.... no one in my family... makes fun of ayu...
my mom says shes cute... and pretty much everyone likes her...
my sister husband .. says he dont like her.. and try to make fun of her sometimes.. but i ignore.. and later on diss his music even harder

but he likes her... cause he has said b4 shes hot...

is... not long ago CAUSIN move with us.... at the start i cut down my listening to jpop cause .. all he listen to is.. spanish music and some english.... but after two weeks... i started to play some jpop...often.. and all he do is like nuthin is going on in my room when his next to me... playing dreamcast or ps2

i sometimes wonder whats going on his mind.. ..while the music is going on...:laugh :roflmao

Just say: she is prettier than you... None of my friends have said she is ugly... My buddies think she's hot, but my female friends complain of how skinny she is and they say the pictures must have been edited etc to make her so thin (around her belly). lol... But if someone calls her ugly, then sure, i'll tell them that she's a 100 times prettier than you etc... ^^

Well I get really pissed when people have different opinion than I have. I know it's lame, but that's who I am... And my opinions are the best ones... I know... lol... That's me in a nut shell.

So when someone bashes things i like or stuff like that... I get mad at them.

I'd just shrug off their comments. Or just laugh it off so they don't know I got offended by their comments. Even though I get uber pissed, my eyes even twitch, but I don't blow my top off... I learned to control my anger.
I know cause two of my cousins thought she sounded like a robot. O.o

What you do is when they say she is ugly be like "oh yeah? I'll show you ugly!" and knee-rock them in th face. Oh man did I love that when I did that to a kid I was in a fight with. Nose exploded and everything, he was crying and bleeding everywhere. A few days later he had that nose cast and his face was all messed up. That's when you know you made someone ugly.

well this boy yesterday wouldnt shut his trap about how ayumi ai sugly and how he couldnt stand her. he said her music was trash and he started saying how she was a disgrace. so i was like " what are you doing" and i chocked him up to the wall for like 1 minute and he was gasping for air, and he was like "LETTTT GOOO IM CHOKING ON A BOTTLE CAP" then i threw hima nd he just shut up. see i dont like it when my favorite idol is made fun of, i guess im a fanatic :shrugs

Oh wow...you guys are just a tad obsessive...
I mean, I like her, but I don't expect EVERYONE to worship Ayu like I do. So if they diss her, it's just their opinion, you know?

Okay, think of it this way.
If you hated Britney Spears, but you knew this girl that LOVED her, wouldn't YOU say, "ew she's horrible" every time that girl swooned over her idol? And if that girl kneed YOU and beat YOU up for YOUR opinion, I don't think YOU will be very happier either.

well hmm some off my friend not like her music am ok with that. but i still send them songs etc... and they usally end up loving her music... so far i got 2 of my cousin and a friend which are really turning in to ayu fans and they blame it on me:laugh it her music i tell them:rolleyes
but when people dis ayu about how minging she look ect... then i start getting a little pissed and say: whatever, look at yurself etc... things may also lend to this :trout lol :D
