Korean CD's are usually really cheap, I don't know why though... :shrug

that would be great if there is going to be Avex Korea. I think that Korean cd are cheaper because the cd sales are really bad?? or is it because Korea is not an expensive place like Japan.

This whole project probably sank... I mean with the recent *****ing about Overseas Ver. I doubt they would start to make Korean Ver.'s which are even cheaper... =_=

SM TOWN handles avex's Japanese releases in Korea, just like avex handles SMs releases in Japan.

examples:
Japanese releases of shinhwa/SES/korean BoA releases are under avex
Namie's Love Enhanced, 181920 and STYLE have all been released in Korea under SM. Not to mention BoA's 3 avex albums.

9 bucks!? booyah. russian cd's are fairly cheap too, I got tatu cd for like 10 bucks, and american copy was 15.

Korean CDs are so well put together to and alot of really fancy photo books. I boght Kangta - Pine Tree the case is beautiful and it all folds out with a photobook and the CD has great sound quality..so why they're so cheap I don't know.. x.x Maybe it's because they don't have a big market?

yeap, smaller market and Koreans make less money than Japanese people I think. So if a CD costs $$$ in general they probably will not buy them. At least that's my logic.

Yeah, I think that's the case. I don't think they have much of a singles market, either. I only see albums from most Korean singers. I think I've seen a single from BoA, maybe, but that's about it.

ooooh Thanks for the info but I think ill stick to singles being pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~.. maybe albums could go korean... I dunno prolly stick to overseas ^^;
