[2004] koRn...anyone?
 

What can I say...other than Jpop I'm a metal-head at heart and I love a good loud rock tune and out of all the rock groups out there I adore koRn. I don't tend to like screaming but Jonathan Davis' voice sounds uber-cool. The music is different as they have a distinctive sound in there. So I was wondering does anyone else like koRn, or any other really hard rock groups for that matter? :D

i used to really like korn...back when orgy was first coming out in 1999. but since then, they've gotten to bore me :X at least, with the stuff they've released within the last few years. the earlier stuff was nice tho :x

whoa... haven't heard about them in ages! Before I was a big Jpop fan, my sis had me listen to them, along with Linkin Park, Adema, Limp Bizkit, and a few others. I wonder how I would've been like if I continued listening to those types of songs :think

Korn is okay, but now they are not so great? Their music has gotten kind of boring.

Well, I voted for 'Korn suck'. I used to be a big, nay, BIG fan of theirs, but that's been what, 5 or 6 years ago. I still think 'Life Is Peachy' is a pretty good album, and the same goes for their debut album, but Follow The Leader was already a big misstep and when Issues got released, I totally lost my interest.

Yup. Their older stuff is better, koRn and life is peachy are really good albums and I'll admit their latest release 'Take a look in the mirror' sucked ('cept for two tracks. 'Right now' and 'Did my time'.) I love Slipknot, Mudvayne and Manson also. :D

They were inventive when they released their first album. But they've done little to progress over the last ten years. 'Untouchables' was a step in the right direction. But with their new one they more or less regressed.

As far as metal, I listen to lots of metal. I like:

I picked the third option... Whenever I try to listen to one of their songs, I have trouble even distinguishing whether its actually a song... x_x... My friend LOVES them though...

Well, the selftitled debut album was released in 1994. They had formed earlier of course; a couple of members had even been in another band together before that. They were called L.A.P.D. and they made some mediocre funkmetal.

KoRn, still no. As much as I have good memories of those first two albums and the way I felt about them back then (yeah, nostalgia), I don't seem to like them anymore. Furthermore, back then they were some nice and sympathetic guys (as can be seen in the semi-documentary Who Then Now?), now they're some arrogant rockstar pricks. Go figure.

KORN ROCKS!!! WOOOOOT! I'M A BIG KORN FAN! :shimmy don't be haterz, they've always been the best as long as i can remember, A.D.I.D.A.S was one of my first KoRn songs, and got the life but i love KoRn :D

i like Korn's older stuff... there more recent albums aren't as good... and i think i've outgrown the ability to enjoy music with so much swearing. :D
