thats good news. but i hope this time ayu would be friendlier to the singers from other countries. the last time she went to china to do a chinese-japanese friendship show, she was very rude to alan tam (one of the top hong kong singers)

Let's not be so sure to blame Ayu or Alan since none of you were there to witness them. Ayu may be great and all but don't be so naive to believe everything in her merit only. Alan is old, yes, but he also earned more respect than Ayu did. People now are starting to call Ayu an old bag and go for cheap teenyboppers like Boa. Can you agree with that? Let's not be so biased as to cuss out either side just based on some second hand sources such as magazines, newspapers, and reporters. Those people live on badmouthing celebrities.

From what i've heard and acknowleged, Alan Tam had done alot of dirty tricks to get on the top of the charts and to get others' attention. A long time ago, when Leslie was still alive and kicking in the music industry; Alan and him were supposedly rivals and Alan was totally jealous of him and he called some of those chinese gangs to threathen Leslie so he can quit singing. And that's why Leslie decided to make movies instead of singing. I won't claim this to be true but i've never like Alan. His songs are almost crap, for me. Of course, after what he said to degrade Ayu, i definitely changed my status from not liking him to hate him. I think he should just quit cus all he wants was attention and to degrade other artists like Ayu.

in my opinion from what i saw online that time this was going on... it seem like the dude was rude ... going around saying she cant sing... why should he care if she can or cant.. he should worried about himself first than other....
this can also be the main reason why she hasnt been to china again.. cause of the rude people ....she did attended to the mtv asian awards back in 2002 .. and nuthin like this happen

Yeah he was saying it everywhere he go, as if he's trying to ruin her reputation. He even said it on one of the Hong Kong radio station. I think they asked how was the performances at the concert. Then he commented on how Ayu couldn't sing LIVE. Then the DJ said "But she's beautiful", Alan said " Then why doesn't she be a doll?" ( maybe he meant something like a model.

Some people said he did that cus he wanted attention from the media. See what kind of person he is? Trying to use other famous singer like Ayu to increase his own territory.

Here is what went down (from I know)

AT was trying to mooch up with another wash-up COCO LEE yuck yuck backstage
And Ayumi came in, just happen to say something that Alan will never have the brain cells to understand in his lifetime, ordinary Japanese.

And boy, Alan want bazzzzooo and start complaining that Ayu was trying to say something rude. (He know Japenese? Me thinks not) back to story.

and on and on Alan wenr.. like ayu's singing, and she's rude and should apologize, and he even went on to say he doesn't understand why Japenese artist was invinted to a show in China (uhhh OOOHH! not to mention the political issue here, but he seems to forgot what kind of show he was in ( not surprising though!!)
