Is it just me, or does BoA's Tragic sound exactly like....
 

S.O.A.P - This is how we party ? PS that song came in 1997, 2 danish or swedish girls sing it... And Tragic came in 2002. Im not saying they copied it, but it is very similiar, right?

haha i thought that too when i first heard it, but it's not uncommon for singers to use past beats and melodies...it's pretty hard to come up with original music these days :rolleyes

YES YES YES!! i noticed this as soon as i heard it coz i used to LOVE that soap song! omg i was shocked. i think boa copied, which sux but i guess she thought no one in korea would notice

I read that someone said that BoA must have thought no one in Korea would know... what the? Hello, BoA was under heavy contract deals and did what they told her to do. She wouldn't know anything about the composing; and probably knows nothing of these two girls.

I doubt that you can have two songs that have similar composing out without some sort of deal with the composer.

Some people like to throw the copying claims out so soon :eyeroll

I know BoA didnt copy, thats why i wrote "they" (producers or whoever made it) borrowed from it...:) I dont mind, well, i do, but its interesting however:)

They don't sound all that similar to me :shrug. Anyway, maybe it was a cover.

Two songs that are even more alike (and i mean EVRYTHING is the same, except the lyrics) are Vengaboys-Boom x4, and Solid base-This is how we do it... Thats probably cause they both used the same music-program i guess:)

Yea I didn't listen but she could just be covering it. Her song "spark" isn't her own, either. It's a cover of a song sung in English, and she copies every part of it...even the little ad-libs.

At least most of her songs are composed only for her to sing yeah? This happens when you don't compose ur own original music, like most taiwanese pop singers these days, practically almost every hit song of them are actually covers of other ppl's (especially korean or japanese) songs; this is so annoying coz they sing it like it's THEIR own song and I haven't heard any of this covers sounding better than the original >.< No offence I'm really fed up with so many such cases -_-
