Loveappears or Duty?

Okay, so I have some extra money, plus a $5 coupon for YesAsia, and so I'm gonna get one of Ayu's older CDs. But I can't decide if I should get "Loveappears" or "Duty". What do you guys think?

Thanks:)

That's a toughy. Go with Duty. No wait Loveppears. No wait... I'm no help.

Catzi 14th January 2005 01:03 AM

LOVEppears, because I don't like the songs on Duty all too much. However, I'm sure that public opinion, and not mine, will say that Duty is awesome. It was, after all, her best selling original CD. Also, Duty has less songs than LOVEppears, so it depends how many songs you want.

Get Loveppears because it is more expensive and u have an 5 coupon so you can save alot of money. Duty is cheaper so you should get that later. But if you don't really care about how much either one of them cost then get Duty since Duty is my fav ayu album.

Hazard 14th January 2005 01:24 AM

Duty. It is, I think, one of her best albums.

CT_Cool 14th January 2005 01:29 AM

hmmm hard one, duty is of her best albums, Loveppears contain many nice old songs :confused....

i'll go with loveppear and buy duty l8r on :think

TeamAyu 14th January 2005 01:55 AM

Duty, hands down. That album is a masterpiece and almost like a best collection. It has SEASONS which in itself makes it an automatic MUST BUY.

BanFan 14th January 2005 02:06 AM

LOVEppears...

The album tracks for Duty seem kind of dull and repetitive, though I've never heard both albums completely, LOVEppears seems better...

SurrealDreams 14th January 2005 02:29 AM

Both are really good, LOVEppears if u like pop, Duty if u want more 'rock', basically more guitars. u should have a listen to some samples too from the albums to decide. LOVEppears also has some good remix extras too on disc 2. LOVEppears might be a little bit more expensive but given the number of tracks it has, it's probably true to say its cheaper than Duty.

Definitely DUTY, with masterpieces and classics like "M", "SEASON", "TEDDYBEAR" and the all time fan favorite "DUTY" can make you go crazy for the album.

LOVEppears is a good album too but it didn't live up to my expectations, at least for me.

oh no! M didn't appear on Duty, it was on the A BEST album. but yeah, personally i prefer Duty over LOVEppears too, mainly because there are a few songs in Duty which i really really really like (all time favs).

gothicia 14th January 2005 02:50 AM

DUTY DUTY DUTY DUTY!!

Mirai Noah 14th January 2005 02:52 AM

Hmmm... hard choice to make. Probably Duty.

DarkAyumi 14th January 2005 03:33 AM

LOVEppears has always been my favorite album of all time from her, with Fly High, Boys & Girls, To Be, Whatever, PS II, Monochrome, especially Immature and Appears. Duty was really good too, but I never liked it as much.

And the 'I am...' album...(M)

Jennie Mae 14th January 2005 04:36 AM

If you want an upbeat/fun CD, LOVEppears.
If you want a masterpiece CD, Duty.

imagina12y 14th January 2005 04:54 AM

it depends on what kind of music you're into.

LOVEppears has a more pop/dance vibe, and the bonus CD has megamixes/promotional materials (cm's and stuff...or something, i forget :X). it's a very manufactured sound.

Duty is more rock/edgy, with a few exceptions (audience, endless sorrow).

Qt Mashi 14th January 2005 05:17 AM

oh darn hard choice, i still gotta listen to these 2 albums more

Kazuko 14th January 2005 05:46 AM

oh that's a hard one...

devilayu 14th January 2005 05:51 AM

I like "Duty" more but "LOVEppears" has the extra disc with remixes and dvd-rom stuff.
