do you guys realize that the songs in MY STORY are just so few sang w/ vibrato in the end of the words...i love ayu doin' vibrato you know....coz' I learn and I wanna learn b coz of her

I think she toned down her vibrato ever since her Rainbow album, cos it can get too annoying for most people, however, I still can hear some small bits of vibrato in most of her songs in MY STORY. Personally, I really loved her vibrato too, I think Voyage has the MOST VIBRATO contained in it... she is practically vibrating throughout the whole song! HAHA.

is vibrato when she sings like OoOoOoOoOo~ like kinda shakey??
hmmm...i thought it was weird like i didnt know whether she did it on purpose or if she's bad at lives, but i guess im used to it now and i relli like it

virbrato is really good if done correctly .....

a perfect example of bad vibrato ...

Voyage

NO VIBRATO! i think her voice during Duty and A Best is the best

Larisa-chan 15th January 2005 07:23 PM

yeah, I noticed that. At first her vibrato didn't really bother me, but then after listening to the songs from RAINBOW etc. I really started to get annoyed with it. I'm glad she's toned down the vibrato :) I think the song "Immature" has the best use of vibrato

minkAYuko 15th January 2005 07:58 PM

yes you are right! but good singers do vibrato the ones that don't ... can't actually sing correctly... cause then it would just sound so plain

o.o...but too much VIBRATO might seem....Showing off???

devilayu 15th January 2005 08:49 PM

Ugh, her "vibrato" always annoyed me when she sang live because it's not real vibrato, she uses her lips to create the sound.

it is not.. picture a violin without vibrato?... what would it sound like? so bad right?

i don't like artists that don't do vibrato.. cause it sounds so plain it means that they only can hit the note, maybe for a long time but not play with it.

and the song Duty has vibrato!! :yes from the beginning... all the way.. seasons too..

Manross 15th January 2005 10:03 PM

lol..ye her vibrato r really nice especially in the voyage performance where she forgets her lyrics..cool :D

There is no right way to create a vibrato. Different cultures use different way to do it. Some ppl even wag their tongue.

I think vibrato sounds really nice when she belts it

extepan 16th January 2005 09:56 AM

i dont quite care if she sings with vibrato or not, i just need to hear ayu's voice :)

ImpactBreaker 16th January 2005 11:49 AM

I don't care if it has vibratos or not either. Voyage is an amazing song and I never even noticed anything strange with the song until ppl started complaining that it had too much "vibrato"
