Ayu's hand signed photo on eBay (fake?)

Haha, check this out: eBay

I recognized that as chinese writing of ayu's name. It's impossible for ayu to write her name in "that" way, so I would have to say it's a fake!

What do you think? I remember ayu's singature is like "ayu" with a butterfly knot. Am I right?

P.S. Funny how this guy has certification for that, and seeing how all his feedback ID is kept private, I smell something fishy. Oh yeah, he does not prefer paypal too, why? Paypal is probably the most secure type of payment yet he go for western union etc.

hmmmm...i'm not sure, but the seller sounds quite honest :D lol

AyuDan 4th April 2005 05:06 AM

wow thats awesome where di u get that from??

AyuDan 4th April 2005 05:31 AM

last year at her show, and if im not mistaken thats only 3 syllables in japanese, so it would have no relation with her name, but i cant read japanese, so im not sure

PickleCookies 4th April 2005 05:47 AM

It says "Hamazaki Ayu," which is 6 syllables. I'd say it's fake, since she writes "Ayu."

~K+ 4th April 2005 06:03 AM

It's fake. Not only is the autograph in Chinese (which she doesn't know), the Chinese writing is also written wrong.

Jennie Mae 4th April 2005 06:32 AM

Yep, totally totally fake. Really disappointing, because it looks legitimate, only the real Ayu fan would know.
There have been a few other fake Ayu signed photos on eBay sold by the same person, except those look like the real autograph except there was no line drawn through the A. It was bizarre.

Maybe Ayu is still learning to write Chinese so she wrote it wrong? heh but I do agree it is fake tho

lolo66 4th April 2005 12:02 PM

yup it's fake very fake and you should comment on her selling fake stuffs

Eigoob 4th April 2005 01:12 PM

Check out this guy. I can't believe people actually buy stuff from him. All those autographs look strangely similar. There's an ayu autograph for $51 at the moment.

omg!! im from hong kong and i thought it was written in japanese :doh

LeButler 4th April 2005 03:30 PM

A shame we can't report this to eBay since there's no way of proving it isn't real. The authenticity certificate is a joke.

In a way it would be just as bad if this were real - taking up valuable autograph-signing time just to make profits, denying real fans their chance :gnash

hamayu 6th April 2005 11:38 PM

Well I can tell the writing in chinese is not dat good since im chinese....... and sides you can also tell its hand writtten htough cuz if it was computerized or somehtin dan it wud be neater and the characters wud be same sizes.... htough its too small for me to tell if the writing of her name is correct though.... it might be her actually autograph cuz she cud have tried to copy some chinese though its its signed...... Well one thing i know is, DAT IS DEFINITELY NOT HER SIGNATURE!!!! a signature , u have to be able to write it fast and that really does not look dat its been fast written or else it wud be in handwriting...

CT_Cool 6th April 2005 11:50 PM

Well look fake to me, cant even click to go large on the pic. Also who would sell a Real ayu sign photo :rolleyes

Nice ball AyuDan your so lucky :yes
Did you get it from a concert where ayu throws them out ?

PsyGen 7th April 2005 12:21 AM

lol I wouldn't buy that kind of stuff on eBay anyways.

Dan that signed balloon looks cool :yes

SurrealDreams 7th April 2005 12:33 AM

I've only seen Ayu autographs witten as "Ayu", like the one AyuDan posted.
The fake looks so pathetic, it doesn't even look anything like what Ayu would sign.
Assuming only Ayu fans would buy these things anyway, they should know whether it's a fake or not.
And anyway, buying autograph things are risky in eBay.

acimahs 7th April 2005 02:31 AM

it looks fake 2 me........nice ball AyuDan

AyuDan 7th April 2005 08:27 AM

yea thanks for the complements on the ball, yes she was throwing them out in her concert last year during Independent ..its a fun dance BTW. i had literally 15 people jump on and scratch me for me to let go. and there were theses groups of girls who kept screaming in my ear some words, i dont know what for sure since i dont understand, but it might have been. "GIVE US THE BALL YOU BIG STRONG UGLY GUY" :) and that sticker is the sticker that she wore on her arm. she placed it all the ball *faints* she brought tears to my eyes at that moment...

extepan 7th April 2005 04:05 PM

haha the autograph looks so extremely fake
