A question about post counts
 

I noticed about three days ago that my post count stopped tallying correctly. for example, assuming I get credit for this one, it will say 102 posts, but if I search for posts from myself, It pulls 133 entries, this will be number 134.

so what is causing the discrepancy? is there a problem that has occured in the system lately, has anyone else noticed this problem? I do edit my posts pretty frequently lately. could it be that when I edit, it counts towards some places but not others. Also, I often post too frequently, I get a message that says something like "you cannot post more than once in 30 seconds" or something like that. Could that be causing a problem?

Any messages posted in Trash Can or under Posting Games Forum do not count towards postcount figures.

The 30 seconds wait is intentional - I think to stop automated Spam software from flooding the board. Editing posts will not affect postcount.
