Those good old singles

Does anybody else wish that Ayu would release those 10 track singles again with remixes of the song? Ah.. the good old days..

Jason 26th May 2005 10:05 PM

I wish I had the fortune of having one of those 10 track singles :(

Cyria 26th May 2005 10:08 PM

I love remixes and it'd be great to see them return (especially since several new songs I love have only had one remix or none at all) but I don't think it will happen. The singles will probably continue to have four tracks.

Don't we all.... *dreams*

[taskin.ayu] 26th May 2005 10:19 PM

She's following the same trend as english singles, since it's obviously cheaper to put on less songs. u__u I wish she would return to that though. D:

Lumix 26th May 2005 10:39 PM

I think we all want those singles. What happened.. Ayu has less energy to kick ass her staff for "order" some remixes by famous DJs???!!!

BanFan 27th May 2005 12:04 AM

Nah, I can't stand remixes...

But I know there's plenty of fans that want them back...

shinde 27th May 2005 12:09 AM

some of the remixes were great..while others were okay-ish...because they took out most of the main vocals. But I espeically enjoyed the "M" and "UNITE!" singles.

I love the big singles, they're definitely appreciated. I think it motivates more people to buy them, or at least take interest in the artist (to see so much effort and so many people collaborating with this one person makes it seem like they must be something special). But yes, a lot of the remixes weren't really that great. And I love remixes. I'd like to see the big singles make a come-back, but I'm sure they won't. They were released when Ayu was at her hottest, and now she's become a more matured artist whose presence people just accept now [passively welcome] rather than freak out at her novelty [actively welcome]. Avex won't swing for it.

starr5245 27th May 2005 07:27 AM

I have three of those singles. I guess she wouldn't be releasing any more, since Avex has stopped these remixes. But the DVD side comes as a bonus after this :)

Joel 27th May 2005 07:29 AM

this makes me sad... me wan remix now! lol

AyuGAME 27th May 2005 08:17 AM

yes..i remember
i want to get back to that periode of time
haha

Qt Mashi 27th May 2005 11:59 AM

ofcourse~ it'll be more wrth it and more to listen :D i wonder why she doesnt do that anymore though~~

elaniel 27th May 2005 05:13 PM

its because avex thinks "Why waste all that hmoney on remixes when we can just sell it as a 4 trakc single. and still sell it"

The first thing you hear is hte original so most people buy the single for the main track.

Also we have the CD&DVD's now which make it better value.

PickleCookies 27th May 2005 08:10 PM

No, most of those remixes sucked.

I respect that... but I disagree with you on that... Usually I LOVE every song, but if I don't, then the remix of the song would make me love it.
(ex. Greatful days - sucked Greatful days (Reina la Disco Mix) - rocked)

except for a song is born and Connected... I just plain hate them... lol

PickleCookies 27th May 2005 08:56 PM

Most remixes were just there, not good at all.

Coelacanth 27th May 2005 09:16 PM

I agree, those types of remixes were just really bad... Of course there's some exceptions, but not alot..

MsMiyabi 28th May 2005 03:10 PM

not always depend on the song u know. I can't I imagine them remixin' Is this love ?or Moments

starr5245 29th May 2005 07:01 AM
