Wow, I am so glad you started this thread. MISIA is my favorite Japanese singer now, but I never really see much of anything about her on this forum. Hopefully there are some other MISIA fans here too!

I am planning to order her latest album, SINGER FOR SINGER, sometime soon. I already have LOVE IS THE MESSAGE and KISS IN THE SKY, both of which I love.

Maybe later I will try to upload some of my favorite songs.

Singer for Singer is really good..:)..i like it better than Kiss in the Sky^^

What are people's favorite albums/songs?

My favorite album right now is Love is the Message. Some of my favorite songs are:

My favourite album is Kiss in the Sky.. 'LAILA' is a brilliant track and 'Never gonna cry' the Kiss in the Sky tour was awesome as well the way it opened with 'BACK BLOCKS' and 'LAILA' then a remix of 'Escape'. I suppose that's another good thing about MISIA's music, the remixes are alot of the time just as good or even better than the originals...a bad thing about MISIA's music...except for the PVs on the 'IN MY SOUL' DVD...MISIA's PVs tend to suck, badly..imo. Maybe it's just her earlier works but 'Escape' and 'BACK BLOCKS' were horrible. Better directors should habe been hired for a performer with so much talent!

yeah...i'm also thought that her PVs are ALMOST ALL borin and weird....even too much CG but didin't show any much amazement... from the preview i think i love :

I agree about her PVs not being the greatest, but I think her live performances are so awesome that in a way they make up for it.

Her live is absolutely flawless, I love her "Hoshizora no live - Best of Acoustic Ballade" live album which I have. It's a pleasure to the ears.

Love the IN MY SOUL/SNOW SONG PVs, and the little I've seen of 'Everything' looked nice.

Of the original albums I've heard, my favourite is probably 'Kiss in the sky'.

Favourite songs are:

- The track for Star Ocean, I can't remember the name of it
- IN MY SOUL
- SNOW SONG
- Namae no nai sora wo miagete
- Escape
- Tsutsumi something something, problem is I can't remember alot of her song titles, since alot of them are long and in Japanese.

By the way, how awesome are her official wallpapers? I remember coming across a site with all of them. The MARS AND ROSES ones in particular were gorgeous, in which Laranel's avatar was made from.

I remember finding a site with all of her official wallpapers too, but I can't find it anymore. I was so thrilled when I found it. The one for Escape was really cool, and I love the images from MARS AND ROSES, obviously. :)

I just saw MISIA's PV for "Kokoro Hitotsu" for the first time, and I actually thought it was a nice PV. Simple but very pretty.

Has anyone seen any of MISIA's live tours? I recently bought her 2004 tour, for MARS AND ROSES, and I really enjoyed it. Her singing was amazing.

I have MISIA's Kiss In the Sky, Best Album, and SINGER FOR SINGER....so far...I like Kiss in the Sky the best!!!! Favorite song is 'Fly Away'!!

I'm planning to buy "THE SINGER SHOW" together wih "fairyland" n maybe Ken Hirai's "LIFE is..."

liked her raw R&B styles on "Back blocks" and "In my heart", and the sheer megaballad mayhem of "Everything" and that "Neverending story" song

I just bought her SINGER FOR SINGER (Mini?) album. It's so good! I've never heard anything from her but just bought it since I heard she's good. To me, she's a mix of Chihiro Onitsuka and the fra-foa singer, a perfect combination. I love Track 5, Birthday Cake, Track 8 and Holy Hold Me.

Is her 2002 Live DVD any good, I'm thinking of getting that since I saw it when I bought this. :)

But I really want that live album with the nice cover with stars, since her lives are supposed to be really good and I'm a sucker for ballads. :D

Off topic:Who is that in your avatar ~K+, she (they?) look(s) cool and I've been wondering ever since I saw it...o_o;
