Alterna lyrics- is it "Hey, come on" or "Henka wo"?

My friend and I had a big argument over this. Are the official lyrics

Hey, Come on, hoho someru nara
Hanareta toko de mitete yo
Nanka shitatte shinaku tatte
Kekkyoku yubi sasareru nara
Aru ga mama ni
( Found on this forum )

or

henka wo osoreru no nara
hanareta toko de mitete yo
nanka shita tte shinaku tatte
kekkyoku yubi sasareru nara
arugamama ni

According to masa, it's "Henka wo". He updated it later in a post in the alterna translation thread.

It sounds more like "Henka wo" instead of "Hey come on", but I thought it that "hoho someru nara" fits rather than "osoreru no nara"....

walking proud 11th August 2005 01:54 AM

I like "Hey come on" and that's the way I'm going to sing it. <_<

shinde 11th August 2005 02:24 AM

I know...I like "Hey Come on" also lol...

SunshineSlayer 11th August 2005 05:39 AM

I like Hey Come on also, but it's wrong. :) I'm looking at the lyric booklet right now and it is definitely henka wo.

walking proud 11th August 2005 07:51 AM

I don't care if it's wrong :D

elepop 11th August 2005 02:17 PM

"Hey, come on" just sounds ridiculous. The official lyrics are "Henka wo" as seen in the booklet.

Celaphorce 11th August 2005 02:36 PM

Hey, Come On is the only is the way I learned it and I'm not changing it for anyone and besides it sounds better that way and more interesting that's the only reason I fell in love with the song besides what she singing about.

stardusties 11th August 2005 09:49 PM

Henka wo...it's in the kanji..

kristen 11th August 2005 11:26 PM

I think it's fine if you say something that's not there; i do it with quite a few songs, ayu or not. The only thing i'd be wary about, is if singing it in public (maybe as Karaoke).

If i had the booklet i'd help but i havent bought the single and people have already answered so yeah.

FoObY 12th August 2005 04:34 AM

what does "henka wo" mean? I like Hey, come on too..

Deep snow 12th August 2005 01:55 PM

hah! i knew 'hey come on...' was wrong, i was sure i heard 'no' before 'nara', so i think the second one is correct, thanks for adding!

starr5245 12th August 2005 01:59 PM

henka wo !!! I saw the lyrics~

Jennie Mae 13th August 2005 09:40 AM

I thought it was Hey Come On until I got my single and was looking at the lyrics and saw no english. Hmmm, I thought to myself. Yeah, Henka wo makes more sense.

Delirium-Zer0 14th August 2005 04:00 PM

I think it makes more sense as what masa's given us. I don't have the single yet, haven't seen the lyrics, but based on what it means, it makes more sense in context.

I don't care if you sing it differently in your own personal arena, singing along at home, whatever. That's up to you.

But if anyone sings it as "hey come on" at anime expo karaoke or anything like that I AM gonna get a bit irked because i'm weird like that. (Then again, i'm the type never to learn song lyrics until all the official lyrics are out there, just to be sure. I'm a big one for authenticity.)
