I think line 2 would be 'massugu ni sashidashita mono wa'.
A repeated vowel/syllable usually indicates a small 'tsu'.

You would only use the small 'tsu' for consonants. Vowels would be repeated with a few exceptions: ee > ei and oo > ou.

Pleas read what I said. I said a repeated vowel - in this case, the a - typically indicates the presence of a small tsu and since the following syllable is 'su' it would mean that she said 'massu [the rest of it].
But anyways I won't argue because I don't speak fluent Japanese although I am quite sure I am correct. We'll just wait till someone comes out with the official lyrics.

Perhaps I should ask you if you if read what I said. But just to reiterate, a small 'tsu' would only be used for a double consonant as it indicates a slight pause. For example:

kitto (for sure) = きっと
atte (have, there is, exist, be located) = あって

And I'm sure you can read at least hiragana since you're debating me on this. So let's look at a word everyone knows: kawaii. So based on your theory, the hiragana for that would be かわいっ instead of かわいい.

Sorry for going off-topic, I'm still working on some the corrections. I swear, why are people trying to pick a fight with me today when I'm just explaining things and trying to be helpful. I should just go back to lurking... -_-

And I'm sorry, I realized perhaps I wasn't clear. I meant that what I had said was said in the context of a song.

And as to your last comment.. uhm I don't see anywhere how I tried to pick a fight. All I said was, 'I think ...'. If saying 'I think' is offensive or means I'm trying to start something then oh my.

Anyways I found another person's version of the romaji for the song and they put 'massugu' as well.

As far as the actual word, it was initially a typo that I just copy and pasted from my correction of lyrics. Yes, it is massugu...but I think the reason you provided was not correct. I was mainly debating the fact that you said that a small 'tsu' is used in repition of a vowel. This is good though...maybe someone will learn from this.

Okay, I understand what you're saying now. It wasn't perfectly clear from the beginning. It came off sounding more like a debate on when the small 'tsu' is used in written hiragana. At least, that's what it sounded like to me. But yes, in singing Japanese, when a vowel is repeated it usually indicates a double consonant. Ha ha ha...glad we finally see eye-to-eye on this.
