According to some news in CIA BBS, the Ayu Concerts in 2002 will be launched in DVD format for oversea version.

It would be in 3 DVDs, and cost about NTD$1500 (USD$43.4116)

So after all, we might be able to watch the 3 concerts at an affordable price and in a readily way.

So, the 3 dvds will be under $50? Wow. That's a good price! I hope they will be able to play on US dvd players!

For region 2 like in Japan or Europe...you will need the Japan version I presume...
I purchased the Japan version of The Dome Tour and it's more expensive ( 55 $ ). I will probably need to do the same for the new ones.

YesAsia, actually has a really good deal if you buy a region free DVD player plus 10 DVDs for only 199 dollars... pretty cheap...

This is cool that the 2002 DVD boxset will come in an OS version. However, I doubt the card to get the free CDL 2002-2003 will come with it since it is an OS version. We will have to wait and see.

There still seems to be no information on whether there will be a Boxset VCD release also which would be presumably less than the DVDs -- more or less $35. I'm still one of the unfortunate few who still don't have a region-free DVD player except for the one on my laptop and anticipate a possible VCD release of the boxset as well.

Normally a VCD concert from Avex costs $20. Therefore, 3 discs costing $35 is out of the question. If it does come out, I think the price will be around $60. At $35, Avex will be losing money.

YesAsia does list a VHS version of the individual concerts.. no word on a VHS box set.

VHS usually cost as much as DVDs in Japan so it would be better to get the DVD version... don't u think??

Usually the DVD released in Taiwan will be Region 3.
