Have Ayu ever written lyrics for any other singers?? The question suddenly occured to me, and I admit that I'm rather curious about it! If so, what songs have she written for which artiste and I want to hear the songs!!!! :innocent :innocent :luv2

Nope, I'm 99.99% certain she has never written anything for any other singer. :)

Yeah, again, I'm pretty sure she didn't write anything for anybody else, but other people did write songs for her (I think I know that).

I don't think ayu should write for others yet...

wouldn't thata be horrible to her if she wrote a song for someone and that song was somehow made the best song ever made! :thud

Maybe when she retires (OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAID THAT) she will write for people... that way her songs still reach others

Since Ayumi personalizes much of her lyrics (some, not all), I don't think she would want another singer to use them anyway.

Well all songs from Ayu are written by herself except for 2 songs.. I think.

I was thinking almost the same thing. Just what I got from one of her interviews about her lyrics being actual accounts of her or her friends lives. I don't think her lyrics would be quite as good (atleast to those who can understand) if they weren't so personal to her.

It's also cause her lyrics are for herself, that she can sing them with the emotion that she sings with. You wouldn't be able feel the same emotion if another artist sang a song with her lyrics.

She has. I'm almost positive she wrote something for someone else once. Just the lyrics, I think.

I feel silly; I should've re-worded that. *ahem* I don't think Ayumi wrote anything for anybody else, but I think some people wrote a song or two that she's sung.

Akiko Wada asked Ayu to write a song for her (iirc it was on an episode of ayuready?). I don't think it ever happened.

Really?? Oh, this really clears up my doubts. I was rather curious, since she's so popular and her lyrics are really good.
