Pride - what do u think about this song?
 

Well... we all waited for preview of Pride - now it's available at Avex site from few hours. There where so many thoughts what type of song Pride will be and now everything is clear - it's ballad :P

I wonder what's r ur first feelings about this track? Do u feel disappointed that it's not another fast rock song?

I must say I supposed to Pride will be rockish song but I don't feel disappointing. I like sad arrangement of this song from first listening and I think it will be my fave ballad of this year :yes

From what I've heard so far, I like B&D better than Pride. Like Ayu_desu said, Pride is a bit like the song Tokyo, which she performed at Music Fair. I never liked that song, and I hope Pride won't be too much like it. But I've only heard 30 seconds of it yet, maybe I'll like it better when I hear the full song. :)

Hmm... I think that I like it better than B&D... but I will need to hear the full song to really know.

i figured Pride would be a ballad...and i'm happy it is as i miss ayumi's ballads...even though i also love her fast rockish songs. anyhow, i like it, i'm anxious to hear the full version. i think it sounds quite sad, which is a good thing i think. also, i thought the beginning reminded me of that old song "unchained melody" haha. :)

I kind of like it. It's not that bad. Just ditch the chorus for the album or next single please. We've heard you with choruses, now we can move on. lol. But it's not that bad. I like it, but for all we know, it might be a first recording just for the site and Panasonic, so who knows?

I love this. I prefet this ALOT more thsn B&D there is something.. depressing and sadnnening about it. which sends chills down my back.. the choir in the back.. is really eerie O.o

I don't really know... It's a ballad. Sure it sounds good but... well, I just think ballads are a bit boring (with exception of Rainbow). I hoped it to be something upbeat. It seems that I'll like Bold & Delicious more.

I must confess I don't like ballad songs much because I can't listening them over and over because I'm boring fast. However I suppose to Pride will be better than HEAVEN and Will - of course I'll could say more when full song will be released - maybe after that I'll change my mind :rolleyes

Pride sounds pretty much Carols style. It reminds me as some fans pointed out "Once upon a December". Rather winter style and soothing. I have to listen to the whole thing to judge though. Don't think it will be better than HEAVEN though.

It sounds very old fashioned, like a christmas carol, or like a "continuation" down the path of will. I won't judge it too hard before I hear the whole thing though. Can't say I am too excited after the preview.

I like it. I thought it was going to be a rockish song or a ballad, so I'm quite happy with that. I prefer the backing singers in this, because they're not screaming over Ayu and everything else :yes Sounds quite nice, looking forward to hearing the full track.

The preview sounded very interesting. A slow and sad ballad I would say and I kind of like those. =P I liked it better than the preview of Bold and Beautiful, because in my opinion that song didn't sounded much like Ayumi's style. Perhaps it will get better once the full song is released.

I'll probably like B&D better than Pride. I'm not a ballad fan in general, and I think 'nice but not special' is what I'll feel about Pride.

I love the tune but... really... her vocals go horribly with this song. She uses her Bold & Delicous vocals for it?! I'm really glad atleast I love Bold & Delicous, because I don't think I can stand her voice for this type of song... HEAVEN is the ballad for this year for me :)

Yeah, I didn't think the vocals suited the song too good :/ But it takes me to my happy place :)
