Ayu's album "I am..."
does anyone know if the singles on the album are the original and not some kind of remix? I'm thinking about buying the album, but I don't want it if the singles are remixes. Thanks to anyone who knows :)

Geez unfortunatelly one of the best songs from a single (Endless Sorrow) is a remix on the I am.... album and it's completely different than the original from the single. The other songs are the same as the single though. Daybreak is different from the single version but the album is the original version and the single is a remix.

Yeah, like Impact said. Only "Endless Sorrow" (a remix) and "Daybreak" (the original) are different. All the other songs are the same. I highly recommend this album, as it showcases some of Ayu's best work ever. I also recommend that you either download the original "Endless Sorrow" or get the single, because the one on the album isn't quite as good as the original. "I am...", "evolution", "M", "Unite!", "Never Ever", and "connected" are some of the best songs on the album.

Personally, I like the Daybreak on the Album better than Daybreak (Hal's Mix) .. the original is Ayu's music ^_^
But regardless.. you HAVE to get I am... It's something that no Ayu fan could go without. Seriously, it's my favorite album BY FAR. Although, you may want to pick up a copy of the Endless Sorrow Maxi Single as well :thumbsup Ashley |

wow - thanks for all the feedback, everyone! You all are true Ayu fans! :thumbsup But that sucks, I wanted the original version of "Endless sorrow" :( But I do love "Evolution" and "Never ever", and the album cover cuz she's only wearing leaves :D
Does "A best" have all the originals? I think I'll just get that cuz I don't think I'd be happy with remix of "Endless sorrow" :( |
A BEST is mainly the same except Ayu resang A Song for XX, Trust, Depend on you, and End Roll (even though it isn't listed as a "new vocal and mix"). Boys and Girls also sounds slightly different from the LOVEppears version, but it's still great. Otherwise, there are no remixes of oldies on A BEST. -- just new vocal and music mixes.
The "gone with the wind ver." of Endless sorrow is basically a more mellow version of the original Endless sorrow. Ayu also resang it to make it seem less forcefull than the original was. It's nice, but it's also a little boring. |

You can find the original "Endless Sorrow" on any mp3 search engine. Winmx is the best one to try. One of us could probably send you the original version if you can't find it. But don't miss out on "I am...". It's one of Ayu's greatest albums ever.
