Kind of, but barely. She's dressed so... well, not really dressed at all. At least Ayu looked covered up. xD

The leaves and the hair remind me of I am, but I dunno- it doesn't really have anything to do with it.

It is similar to I Am, except Ayu looked classy and it had a meaning to it. Shakira's cover just looks ****ty - I mean "Oral Fixation" for a title? Come on.

shes impersonating adam and eve she actually has a theme to hers I dont know what ayu was doing maybe trying to blend in with the desert:)

Just a tiny bit... but not really... the I AM cover seemed to actually have some meaning behind it and wasn't just pretty pictures. At least Shakira's music is good. Choice of cover art is just weird to me, though. Too mainstream. <---by which I mean following cultural "sex sells" thingy.

I think if I were to see this in a store or something then I would be reminded of I am...but I guess Shakira's cover goes with the Adam and Eve theme (if that is what she's doing)

Oral fixation is a freudian term. In his theory the first few years of our lives are spent being obsessed with the mouth (hence babies putting everything in their mouth). It's like basic instincts. Shakira was quoted saying she feels as though she's still at this stage or something... like how she appears as Eve, the theme is about basic human instincts. Raw and totally innocent. And Eve didnt wear clothes. She can't help but look sexy, she's Shakira!

After reading the translation... I kinda find it very artistic.

I was wondering if it has anything to do with Freuds theory. If it does, atleast she didn't name it off of any of the other stages... those would sound much worse.

Well, for the I am cover, Ayu decided to change it after 9/11, to a more peaceful theme(hence the dove), because at first, they had taken the album cover pics and everything and it was supposed to look glamorous, but she just had a last minute change of heart or something.

i preffer the ayumis cover....but i thinks that are too differents...and the labum I AM is great....the new album of shakira i'ts so BAD!
i have all the shakiras album (pies descalsos, donde estan los ladrones, remixes, .....)
but this songs are terrible! nothing on this album is good for me
