iPOD help PLEASE!!!
 

dunno if this goes here....but...
1.) How do yu put new songs on there without deleting everything already on it?

2.) How do yu put videos from your library on it? Ive tried but they neevr show up in the video category.

3.) Is there a way to delete songs one by one? In case i accidently put somehting on there i dont want.

umm...go to www.apple.com and look under support and you'll find the answer

1. go to Edit>Preference>iPod and
you need to set it "manually manage songs and playlist"

2. don't have a vpod..so can't help you on this

3. in iTunes, click on the iPod icon (should be under Music Store)
and you'll see all the songs you have in your iPod and click on songs(highlight them). Hit the "Delete" key on your keyboard and it will clear the ones you don't want them in it.

I can answer 1 and 2:
Well first you need to have iTunes installed (which should've come along with the ipod when you first bought it). If you want to add new songs to your ipod, the songs have to be in your library first. First make sure that you have " Library" hi-lighted at the left. Go to File>>Add Song to Library(if you want to add individual songs to the library) or Add Folder to Library(if you wan to add every song in a certian folder to the library). Make sure that your ipod is connected and find the songs using the search function(Library should still be hi-lighted) and highlight the files and drag them to the ipod tab at the left and there you go!
As for deleting songs, you need to hi-light ipod at the left and search for the songs that you want to delete. Once you find them, right click on them and choose "remove."

ok thanks all. i didnt know to drag...

the ipod video doesnt play mpg files....they have to be quicktime files. but just download this psp converter that changes them into mp4 format. it works well. so yeah good luck! =)
