The band RUSH?
 

Hey everyone hows it going? Are any of you into progressive rock and like the band RUSH? Those guys have been around for 30 years, but they still know how to put out great material and put on awesome shows. If you're a fan, they recently came out with a new dvd called "RUSH-R30" and its really worth checking out. My friend was able to get me a copy from umvd and the quality of the 2004 germany concert on the dvd is top notch since it was filmed with hi-def cameras (I seriously got to get myself one those TVs. The quality is amazing!). The dvd also contains other interviews and music work the band has done throughout the years. What The Heck?! LOL I love Rush! Personal Fave is 'Tom Sawyer it's even my main ringtone ^^. Umm..that was kinda mean what the person said..or maybe it just needed to be worded differently. :shakehead

Glad to know there is at least one person on this board that also appreciates the sound of RUSH. Thats cool you have it as your ring tone. I might just have to steal that idea later on when I get a new phone :) I can't even pick a favorite song of RUSH, they all rock.

Rush is one of my favorite bands of all-time. I got to see them on the Atlanta date of their 30th Anniversary tour last year. It was one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen. Good to see another prog fan on the board.

Well, the only song from them that I've heard from Rush is Tom Sawyer, but I'm soooo addicted to it hehe~ It's really cool sounding! I get to hear it alot on this radio station I listen to <3

It's from the R30 DVD that I was talking about -- the quality is good but you can't really appreciate it until you hear the concert with surround sound.

rush is the favorite band of one of my friends...but i've never listened to them. lol. :)
