What to expect in 2006?
 

Now that 2005 is wrapping up, what are your thoughts and hopes for Ayu in 2006? I personally hope we only see a couple of releases, I definitely think she deserves a break..I mean this girl goes non-stop. I think some time off would do her some good, perhaps re-invent herself even more (not that she didn't do so with the new album) but just enough so she can deliver even better music to her fans.

Well, we have Startin' to look forward to, and that sounds awesome so far. :)
Other than that, I always hope for some more CREA composed singles each year, but that probably won't happen.

Yes, we have Startin.. I hope it wont get on the next album since its packed together with Rainy Day. Hope its like something exclusive, in the vein of Step You's DVD content, MNW.

And if its possible, I want Ayu to collaborate with an English artiste.

interesting, did you think of anyone in particular?? the voiced would have to work well together, so this is a hard choice

I'm hoping she'll take a break honestly. All artists need time to relax and then have a good comeback. A few months isn't good enough. She's worked hard for a long time.

hmm after (miss)understood I would like her to do one more album that year with that I´m fine =)

i heard that the she had a 6 months break from jan to jun 2003.. ever since she started her singing career in 1998.. lol that maybe untrue..

i bet she is releasing Startin' c/w (something else) as a single.. probably at march - april.. so thats when she will sing it during her ENCORE of her ARENA TOUR 2006!!

well, im expecting her to have more breakthrough.... she should think of a world tour in 2006.. but we all should know that when A BEST 2 comes out, that's the end of her career...

Why so? Artists like Madonna have two best compilations are the end of their career is far away.

When A BEST was released, it was meant to mark the end of Ayu's career. (For Ayu it was as such, but of which she decided she would still continue ultimately. That's why she's still releasing material!) So if A BEST 2 was ever going to be released, it could mean the same!

For 2006, I hope Ayu would say take a good break and think about how she's going to reinvent herself and that she's truly proud of the songs she delivers across. (Like how she felt for MY STORY) An album that she would be truly happy and proud of. It's great that she's trying new genres (as seen in Bold & Delicious/Pride) and I hope she continues to do that! I hope for more CREA compositions as well!

is A Best 2 is released, it may be jus to commemorate her 8th anniversary as a singer.. it may be a good thing!

True indeed too. Anyhow I am expecting big things this year. Probably her next arena tour will blow us away and I have a feeling we shall have a lot of powerful singles this year with powerful melodies. Also I am still waiting for Ayu to play guitar in a live since she mentioned last year she was learning the guitar!

she may not be able to sustain her popularity after such a long break, i'd rather like her retire from her career after a great success from A BEST 2, then release a single every year and appear in Kouhaku every year afterwards, that would keep her the best JPOP queen ever~!

Hope for more remixes in Mar-Apr...Startin' is gonna be released in early spring so most prob Jan/Feb....I hope she performs it as a main thingy like Free And Easy in AT 2002...

Just hope Ayu gives us gd gd songs next year...Don't think she can break next year because of the AT Mar-June...By July/Aug should have summer single...then Sep another single then Dec most prob album...
