Yeah, they're legit. Not good versions though. They're really cheaply made. Getting Duty would be no problem, but if I were you I'd hold out for a different LOVEppears, since this one is only one disc and it's worth getting a 2-disc Japan version. The only thing REALLY different about the Chinese verison of Duty is the bright pink disc, so if you're cool with that then there's no reason not to get this version.

They look like bootlegs, i know, but they're officially licensed mainland chinese releases. They come up alot.

okies! thanks a whole lot! ^^

they look alright from the front. but, there could be a chance that it's a bootleg, since they never show the tracklist or the back cover. it's safer to get the japan or oversea version. china items are not exactly reliable. the quantliy aren't that good.
we got china released goods here in singapore too. they are very cheap around US4 to 5dollars, but the discs get worn out fast. i would rather get the singapore or oversea version which costs around US9 or 10 dollars.

I have the Chinese version of RAINBOW and it is just as good as my overseas version.

most of them do have the booklet, but the disc quality aren't that good. some tracks might skip in a couple of months. that's what happen to some of my friends. so, i won't recommend china version.

I think China versions are legal only in China?

Neo Daydream 19th January 2006 03:28 PM

i had no idea about that. but we do have china versions in singapore. you know those $9.90 cds sold in poh kim or TS? those are the ones. yesterday, i saw the china version of 'HEAVEN' single too.

Yukitora 20th January 2006 02:32 AM

Yes, the Chinese versions ARE sold outside of Mainland China legally.

That will happen to any CD if you don't take proper care of it :P

You'll probably be happier with a different version however. These Chinese versions made quite subtle visual differences... (disk color change, lose one whole CD). Other albums such as MY STORY, memorial address and RAINBOW had no differences though and were ideal.

Don't bother with this, it's rip-off. Just look at the ridiculous shipping price.

Spend just a few more dollars and you can get yourself a Hong Kong/Taiwan edition that looks basically identical to the Japanese one.
