why do some of her singles have one character names?

any idea as to why some of her best singles have one character names?

1. A
2. }{ (H)
3. &

I think the old theory we used to have was she's trying to spell out something... and every time there's speculation on the title of her next Single, a letter usually comes up (I think I remember 'K' being one)

we thought maybe she's spelling out AH (her initials) & (someone she loves), so there was speculation of Tomoya's initials coming up...

thats what i thought but i thought that was a little too complex to be true.

I thought it only meant A & H (Ayumi & Hamasaki). But oh well, such theories are always interesting...

I have always thought that "T" and "N" would be next!

Also, the maxi singles (multiple songs) are the ones with only a letter only for single title. I wonder if Ayu will release other ones.

~AyUsIcK~ 10th February 2006 05:45 AM

how about "M"?

Delirium-Zer0 10th February 2006 06:07 AM

I think in this case, that doesn't count since "M" is the name of the song, not just the single.

Yukitora 10th February 2006 01:58 PM

I thought:

A: Ayu's last single. Name it something that represents her. The first letter of her name (A)

H: Another multi-A side single, do something similar to A.

&: Same as above, but there aren't any more important letters, so use a symbol that is nice looking :P

Cloud 10th February 2006 03:46 PM

if you turn "&" around, it looks like an "A".

Delirium-Zer0 10th February 2006 08:31 PM

In its current incarnation the ampersand always kinda looked like an A to me, and I dunno why since it was originally "Et", not "A". :P

ohsixthirty 10th February 2006 08:51 PM

yeah, i think its just (A)yumi (H)amasaki. as for &, i think it just looked cool maybe, lol. i really don't see any other letter singles coming, but if there was one, then i'd be interested in what it means.
