why isnt Startin' on (miss)understood?
 

Just curious as to why this song wasnt on the (miss)understood album?
We heard previews in early december (obviously she finished recording then)
and the PV was definately made before countdown live (coreography)
and lastly, this is part of the onimusha game starting theme, rainy day is the ending theme and that was on (miss)understood?

Sales tactics maybe?

Startin' wuda been a much better inclusion than Beautiful Day imo... that song is..... *shudders*

Perhaps because they wanted to gather most of the Geo tracks, and figured they had enough tracks for an album already.

Really? i think startin's an amazing song, alot better than half of the ones on (miss)understood !
i sure hope shes working on a new album! hopefully it wont be a best album and a brand new album!

He's asking why didn't she include [startin'] in the album, but instead included only one of the songs - [rainy day] - in Onimusha.

one more crap song and (miss)understood would have turned into another MY STORY. that's why.

it's because most of the artists release 4-6 singles before releasing a new album.. an album is releaased once a year! ^___^ so ayu release an album every year!

avex probably wanted to have an Ayu single release in early 2006, but she didn't have time to compose enough new tracks in this time frame. Also, because it's the game intro some people who wouldn't buy an Ayu album might purchase a single with the song. Just my guesses.

yup.. i agree that they would want to release Startin' as a single first..

isn't it basically yearly that she releases an album? anyways, I think startin' was kept seperate to give it more attention, since it's a whole lot more upbeat. Plus, if they put Startin' on the album, it'd probably have been another over-shadowed song without proper attention.

I don't know why, but anything more than 17 tracks on an original album is too much. LOL It feels like its overloading the cd, so thats why she didn't add another song? And also the sales tactic of course. =p

Well, I agree with all the explanations given above and stuff--- but it is definetly worth saying that the song WOULD have helped out that album :/ Considering it's consistently weak u_u;
