I have heard of Mink, but never really bothered to check out her songs. Seeing that she is also in the US, I'm more persuaded to find out about her.

i just bought her single for beautiful/one suitcase. lol. i'm so easily persuaded.

I think they're referring to the 'Glory of Life' remixes released in the US. They're good remixes :D

Wow, I never knew she had such success in the US!

I hadn't heard of Mink before this, but i'm interested to check her out. I find it quite funny though how a lesser known artist can slip under the radar and gain some success in the West, yet a huge artist such as Hikki flops horribly (even though the album was good) heh.

^ It's usually easier to "expand" your fanbase overseas if you're not so well known. ^^;

Avex is an independent label. it's not part of the big four labels that control like ~80 % of worlds music market (Sony , Universal , Warner & EMI).

same way as there are independent movies , it means they're movies which aren't produced by the big movie production companies.
