Anyone here heard of her? Put Your Records on has been playing a lot on TV and radio lately. The album just went platinum in 4 weeks too. I find her awesome and I'm probably getting her album by the end of the month. Here's the details from Wiki:

Corinne Bailey Rae is the eponymous first album by British singer Corinne Bailey Rae. It was released in February 2006 in the UK and March in Europe. It went straight in at #1 on both the UK Top 75 Albums Chart and the UK R&B Album Chart.

"Like a Star" was the first debut released from the album, released in a limited edition format in 2005. The second single, "Put Your Records On", went straight into the UK Singles Chart at Number 2 in February 2006 and hit #1 in the UK R&B Singles Chart. Follow up single, "Trouble Sleeping", will be released during the summer and will be followed by "Like A Star" - which will be re-released towards the end of 2006.

Oh I was watching VH1 soul and they kept playing her video for "Just Like A Star" I really like that song and her voice is just so soothing. I want to buy her album too!

Haven't seen her new video. Am considering checking out her album.

I really liked the video for PYRO - I don't see many videos I really like (well I do see a few I like, just not as much as Jpop ones), but this one is excellent. It's goes with the song perfectly, like it was thought of as the song was written. Nice song, nice video.
