Utada on MTV!
 

Well sort of. :) I was just watching MTV here and a commercial for Kingdom Hearts 2 came on and it played the English version of Passion throughout it. I just thought it was cool to be hearing Utada on MTV even if only for 30 seconds. :)

I saw it on G4 TV as well.

Wow! She's lucky! I hope Ayumi will be on MTV International too!!

Oh cool. :yes Utada appeared lots here, her PV I mean. Easy Breezy got played plenty but never entered the video countdowns. Channel V played it and Easy Breezy reached #2 on their Top 20 countdown. Also Channel V plays Utada's Japanese PVs sometimes.

That's lucky for you. :) In the US, nothing j-pop related ever gets played on major music channels.

^ I know, seriously. :( It'd be so cool to hear J-pop on the major music channels here!! Guh...well that's cool that Utada's "Sanctuary" was playing on the CM :D

ps: I think Utada sounds a lot better in english

I hope to see the CM soon! I remember the CM for the first KH game had "Simple & Clean" and the remix in it. :)

Oh yeah I saw it on MTV to. I was so mad because it was the first time I heardSanctuary and I didn't like it.

Hikki has been on this one interview thing for MTV about up-coming artists a little bit before her Exodus '04 album. :D

I live in Italy and it happened to me to hear on the radio a hirai ken and a hikki's song (the hikki's one was dareka no negai ga kanau koro) and also a s.h.e (chinese girl band) song... it was so cool *__________*

Really? I thought she sounded horrible. She sounded all loud and stressed.



By the way, should you seriously be calling this thread "Utada on MTV"?
This commercial is nearly on all channels, and the title seems very misleading.
Before I came to it, I thought one of her PVs or something was actually aired on american television.
