Advice needed...

Hello everybody! My name is Anton Tsygankov, I'm new on this forum. I'm guitarist from Moscow, Russia. Had won 9 rock guitar contests. I'm looking for record label which can can release my CD in Japan. Do you know any labels in Japan that can be interested in that? I keep searching very hard but there's still no sucess...

Here's some samples of my music:

Have you already contacted any Japanese labels? If you have, which ones?

I sent e-mails mp3's to every label from that list and didn't received a single reply. It's too damn expensive to send CD's to Japan using real express mail, it's about 80$ per letter.

Well, here is my little knowledge..

Avex are the main record company in japan. To nurture talent they have the AAA, the Avex Artist Academy. They also have sub labels, the most known is Ryhtem Zone

Hello! Project are a girl pop label, not for you i dont think

DefStar are connected to Sony Records Japan, there artists include YeLLOW Generation, the brilliant green and tommy heavenly and her things.... yarr

Other things are like universal japan

cant really think of anyone else

First off, good stuff. Reminds me of Liquid Tension Experiment, which is definitely not a bad thing. I'm not sure about any Japanese labels, but you could try Magnatune. They are an online label, they sell your album in digital format and you keep more of the proceeds than you would with a standard label. In fact, when I finish some recordings I'm doing this summer, I'll be submitting my stuff to them in hopes of getting a deal with them. I'm a guitarist myself. But good luck in your search for a deal, you've definitely got skills. And while I'm thinking about it have you tried sending demos to Inside Out or Magna Carta Records? Your sound is definitely Inside Out material.

Edit: Oh yeah, Magnatune is here.

umm...why not try to put it on myspace.com or something? That might help you out a lot.
